Beautiful apartment on the shady side of a new building (2008) within a short 5-7 minute walk from the beautiful beach in Bat Yam, a Tel Aviv suburb just south of Jaffa. The apartment is on a very quiet street in the center of town, in a nice neighborhood near City Hall, with shops, grocery stores, small parks all right downstairs. Downtown Tel Aviv is a ten-minute drive, or a short bus-ride from Bat Yam.

Year Purchased: 2008
My wife (Parisienne) and I (American ex-pat) have been vacationing in Israel for years and finally bought this great apartment near Tel Aviv last year so we and our children would have a permanent pied-à-terre in the Holy Land.
Why the Owner Chose Bat Yam
We chose Bat Yam because it's right on the sea and is away from the hustle-bustle of Tel Aviv, yet close enough to get easily to our favorite Tel Aviv restaurants, museums, and shops in less than half-an-hour. Also, this small suburb has been getting better and better over the last 5 years and is safe and friendly. We chose to buy a new apartment while it was still under construction and they did a beautiful job.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
The apartment is spacious and quiet and the neighbors are very friendly, mostly permanent residents. Off-street parking under the building is a great boon during the tourist season when parking spaces are at a premium on the street.
