Smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, two thirds of the island is a National Park, preserving the natural beauty of its dozens of beaches with great snorkeling and diving right from shore, countless hiking trails and many historical ruins from the sugar cane plantation days. Add to that world class shopping and dining at your fingertips, a beautiful new condo situated on a soft white sand beach and you have the makings of a truly memorable holiday!
Sit on the oversize tiled front balcony of your 3rd floor Grande Bay condo gazing at the beach below, less than 75 feet away, listening to the soft lapping of waves on the tropical turquoise water of Cruz Bay. Comfortable swivel Captains chairs and a table for 4 allow for al fresco dining with fabulous views of the harbor and St. Johns spectacular sunsets. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is one of the largest and quietest in the Grande Bay complex, featuring an oversize living and dining room with a bar area. Both bedroom and living room have tiled balconies and flat screen TVs; stereo, DVD and CD player are located in the living room entertainment center.
Wireless internet is available throughout. The condo is fully air conditioned for your comfort but there are also four ceiling fans: bedroom, living room, dining room and front balcony in case you want to turn the AC off to enjoy the breezes. There is a Queen sofa bed in the living room as well as a bookcase with books and games, maps & information about the island. There is even an extra closet, walk-in size, with a safe and lots of room for bags and storage. Custom decorating throughout features island fabrics, original paintings and photographs and pottery.
The fully furnished kitchen has state of the art stainless steel appliances: stove, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, plus coffeepot, blender, toaster, mixer and all kitchen utensils and dishes, cook and bake ware, All countertops in kitchen, bath and bar are granite, bar stools overlook the kitchen from an extra long raised countertop. Cooking here is a delight, or if you prefer, eating out or carrying in, evening hours on the balcony beckon with views of twinkling lights over the water and sounds of the tree frogs.
Our condo is located one block from the main ferry dock on the island, only a few minutes walk to car, dinghy, & dive boat rentals, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores, yet maintains quiet and privacy. Just a few steps from the elevator that will take you up to your condo there is a reserved underground parking space for your use, should you want to rent a car to explore, or taxis are available at the ferry dock for reasonable fares. We provide beach towels, coolers and all linens and towels for the condo. The complex is scheduled for completion in Dec of 2009 when the pool with its waterfall and the exercise room with all new equipment will be available for your use also.
