Pros:The place is beautiful with a large expansive yard (great for games), pool and deck over looking the ocean. Very comfortable with 6 spacious bedrooms (we had enough room for an air mattress) and multiple well appointed living areas allowing for privacy with our large group. Bathrooms were all huge. Unbelievable fitness room! Decor is eclectic beach and very comfortable. The view is gorgeous. The home is a short walk to the village, excellent for aults and teenagers who want to go check things out. Inside there were plenty of bed linens, 3 sets of washer/dryers (yea!) and adequate kitchen cooking supplies for large groups than I have ever seen from other rentals. Cons: the deck, beach stairs and deck furniture in much needed repair or replacement (needed sanding, staining and part of stair treads broken with missing handrail). Of the 2 bedrooms off the kitchen, one did not receive any air conditioning but had a ceiling fan and the other had no working hot water in the bathroom sink. Summary: this is alot of house that accomodates large groups easily, allows privacy, easy access to the village shopping areas, beautiful home and yard and I would easily stay here again.
Owner response:KM (TEXAS), At least once a year we have storm damage to the deck stairs and handrails which go down to the beach, and that happened just before your visit.. It has now been repaired. we don't stain the decks on the ocean here....doesn't look natural. Also, your claim about the bedroom off the kitchen not getting A/C is false.. Someone may have had a vent closed, but the A/C is not a problem there. Plumber has fixed the hot water valve in that bathroom sink now, but had to order a discontinued 'stem' for the valve which can't be found..That HAS been a problem for weeks, and will be rectified this week by replacing the entire set. Thanks for your review, and hope you will return to "ITYLLDOO" and find it in more perfect condition!

My family and I stayed at Itylldoo for a long weekend in May 2011 and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a High school graduation party on the estate and everything worked out great. You could not have asked for a better setting the property is beautifully landscaped and the view of the ocean was amazing. I spent the entire weekend on the deck and in the pool. The house is tastefully decorated especially loved the sunroom and living area. Thanks to Jane for accomodating my family. We have a large family and love to get together, so this was perfect for us. Where does one begin, this place is georgous and has any & everything one would need for a great vacation. Awesome layout, spacious, delightfully decorated,primo location. so much to do or just as nice to do nothing at all. If you stay here and do not enjoy yourself you would have to be in dire need of therapy..There is noway you can say a bad thing about the place..IT WAS AWESOME!!!!..The owner was very helpful & Gracious with everything!! A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MEG..YOU COULD NOT HAVE PICKED A BETTER PLACE FOR THE GRADUATION IT WAS BEAUTIFUL..THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING ME..Personally I highly reccomend sleeping on the deck right above the Ocean listening to the water hitting the boulders:)..THE BEST!!!!

Dear Jane, Rich and I enjoyed our family vacation at your guest cottage Itylldoo....and "Itylldoo just fine!" What a spectacular house with amazing views. The pictures do not do it justice. The kids enjoyed the short walk to the pier and are still talking about all the crabs they caught:) Rich and I enjoyed the pool and private sun deck. We will be back this time next year.
