Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2007
My wife and I discovered Tubac 4 years ago. The weather in the winter is fantastic. We love sitting in our courtyard with coffee in the morning watching the hummingbirds. In the evening we sit on the back patio and enjoy the view of the mountains shrouded in the soft evening sun.
Why the Owner Chose Tubac
We chose to buy here because we like the golf course, the weather and the lovely small artistic community. The fact that most everyone is new to town has made it easy for us to meet new friends. We also like the proximity to Mexico.
The Unique Benefits of this Studio
The best feature of our rental is that you can bring your pets. The casita is within walking distance of the village and the golf resort. We have the only casita with a kitchenette and a full size refigerator making it easy to prepare meals or fix picnic lunches.

I discovered Sue and Jeff's lovely casita when seeking a get away from the great Northwest. I was impressed by the setting and the comfort of the studio, as well as the hosts friendly but non-intrusive presence. I have since moved to Tucson and still go down for stays at the casita when I want an mini-vacation. Over the past four years I have noticed little changes that add to the comfort and convienence of the place. Sue and Jeff are quick to respond to requests and are extremely helpful about places to visit and things to do. I love to just go out for walks, and it is nice to know that they would be as hospitable to a dog friend (if I find another one) as they are to me. I highly recommend a stay at this Casita de San Ignacio.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Casita for 4 nights. This place is pure comfort, peace, and relaxation. The owners were some of the nicest people you would ever meet and were a pleasure to deal with. Its location on the golf course was beautiful and peaceful. It is also just a 5-10 minute walk into Tubac. Many resturants and the food was great. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

My friend and I stayed during February last year. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. It is a lovely casita. It was very clean and comfortable for both of us and our small pets, too. A short walk into Old Tubac for art and food..
Recommended for:Pet owners, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was perhaps the nicest room I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, warm and cozy. It is located literally steps from the golf course and a short walk to the village of Tubac which is filled with too many unique galleries and shops to take in. Having a bad back, I was pleasantly surpised to find the casita to have the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The owners, Sue and Jeff, are wonderful. I have recommended this casita to friends and family and will continue to do so.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Everything was as advertised. Quiet, comfortable and exceedingly clean with a great view of the mountains. The photos are beautiful but don't begin to do the casita justice. As a frequent visitor to Tubac, you wan't find a better place to stay for the money.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
