Northstar is now the premier ski resort in Northern California, offering year round family fun--skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, shopping and much more in the winter; golf, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, mountain biking, hiking, shopping and more in the summer! Year round there are fabulous restaurants! The home is 12 minutes from Lake Tahoe and boating; 15 minutes from the casinos; and 12 minutes from the wonderful old western town of Truckee, California.
The home has 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and we built it with a large group in mind. So, there is plenty of cozy seating in the great room for everyone to gather and be together. There is also a huge bonus room on a separate floor for the kids to enjoy their wii, television programs, movies, games, etc. The bonus room has a fireplace, 4 bunk beds and it's own bathroom.
It's wonderful for entertaining and privacy. This home is cozy, cozy, cozy--set in the woods, with 3 fireplaces, and wonderful deck and easy access to all sports, restaurants and shopping.
