Newly remodeled "Row House" with modern furnishings and antique accents; located in a quaint neighborhood within walking distance to Historic Downtown Salida. Minutes from wonderful parks, shops, art galleries, restaurants and the beautiful Arkansas river - the gateway to your outdoor adventure!
The open living / dining area features hardwood floors and a large granite gas fireplace creating intimacy and warmth; perfect for a romantic getaway or for the family to cozy up in front of on a chilly winter night. The Kitchen with it's granite countertops and new appliances is perfect for the chef in the group! **Salida Row features two cozy bedrooms with comfy new Queen size beds and a shiney clean, modern bathroom. There is an inflatable mattress for a kiddo on the floor. The home offers a flat screen TV with cable channels and is conveniently located within a one block of the library or 2 or 3 blocks to numerous internet cafes for your internet connection. Ask about adding internet service for extended stays. Neighboring Alpine park is perfect for the kids and is home to Salida's colorful Farmer's Market from June through mid October. The bike trails are also nearby along with just about any outdoor adventure of your choice! There is a small outdoor area with seating in the back yard and a garage is available for your use. The shared back yard is fenced and your dog may enjoy this yard with owner supervision and conscientious clean-up.
All vacation homes in the Pinon collection are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided as well as tp, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.
Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval with a $40 cleaning fee. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays. Rates are based on four person occupancy. Add $10 per person per night over 4 people. Extended stay rates are available subject to owner use and availability. Please read rental policies (tab at bottom of page). Published seasons and rates are for pricing purposes only. Actual availability is subject to owner use. This house welcomes a well behaved dog for $10/night that would not be left alone indoors.
$45 applies towards the cleaning cost and covers accidental damage protection up to $1500. For stays of less than 3 nights, the other half of the cleaning fee will be charged ($40). Visa or Master Card accepted with a 2.9% fee, or pay by check.
Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy A reservation may be cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in but may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Sorry, no refunds will be given for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to check-in unless the unit can be re-rented for the same dates, or, in some cases at manager's discretion, you move your reservation to another date.

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The fireplace was fantastic. It was nice having the CD player and music. We also used the DVR + TV. We had fun at Mt. Princeton Hot springs and the parade and the lighting of Christmas mountain was terrific. The shops were also fun to go through. The place has been modernised and had a well fitted kitchen with modern appliance. The bathroom is small but the shower is great. It has a big, expensive looking gas log effect fire that domiates the living room with (noisy) fans that circulate the heat into the bedrooms. The only other heating is small electric thing on the skirting the bathroom. It has beautiful restored wood floors thoughout. Furniture is mix of some new stuff and many older pieces. The older pieces vary in quality from nice (e.g. we really liked the dining table and chairs) to junk (e.g. chest of drawers in the back bedroom is falling apart). As an older house of course it needs some maintenance and I've already told the agents about some things that needed attention. But don't let that put you off, the place has charm. Rental agents are a professional realtor firm in Salida - they're very responsive to queries and very easy to deal with. The website is honest but renters should note there is no phone and no internet and also there is no bathtub, just a shower. Flat screen tv is rather small and cable package is pretty basic. Heating system has limitations and there is no air con.

Our guest book comments have been overwhelmingly positive and folks love the cozy fire place, brand new kitchen and bath, historic charm, comfy furnishings and proximity to town.
