  My college roommates and I decided to have a reunion and take a little weekend vacation to New Orleans. We found Balcony Breezes and could not have been happier with our stay! Kimberly is such a gracious host! We had a minor "snafu" with the hot water, but Kimberly worked so quickly to get it taken care of and was so accommodating! You can't always get such great service and assistance when traveling and renting from individual home owners. I've rent houses in AL, FL, CA, & now NOLA through VRBO and I can honestly say Kimberly's place is just fantastic! She even made us some delicious biscotti! We walked to the street car every day, and the area couldn't be safer. We felt so comfortable staying in this area and it was just about a 20 minute ride on the street car (which is also fun, by the way!) to the French Quarter. What a great trip! Thank you, Kimberly!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  My husband and I stayed at the Balcony Breezes apartment for a long weekend. It is a lovely apartment with lots of original details, very comfortable. Kimberly was a gracious host - available, but not intrusive. The neighborhood felt safe. We were close (2 blocks) to the St. Charles streetcar for easy access to downtown and the Garden District. It was an easy walk to Audubon Park. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in New Orleans!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  We stayed at Balcony Breezes with our toddler and another couple. The house was very spacious and the two rooms were at opposite ends of it, so our toddler didn't disturb the other couple at all. The walk-out balcony is fantastic! It's a short walk to the streetcar, a coffee shop, and even Whole Foods and all the other fun things Magazine Street has to offer. What a nice rental in a great location!

  My husband and I along with our adult children visited NOLA for a family wedding one weekend in February. We rented two apartments for the 7 of us and two couples stayed in Balcony Breezes. The uptown location was wonderful and very safe. The accommodations were spacious and well decorated with a nice ambiance. The hostess, Kimberly, was very gracious. With family in NOLA, we will be returning to visit and will definitely choose this apartment to stay in again.

  My sister and I, with our significant others, came here for Halloween last year and loved the place. It is in a great location, right near to where I used to live in NOLA. The house was clean and comfortable and great for two couples. It was so much nicer to be in a house than at a hotel and our hostess was very nice and accommodating. Hopefully we will be back soon!!

  My 2 teenage children and I spent a week in New Orleans in this wonderful house. The apartment is large and beautifully furnished. We felt so much at home as the apartment had every thing we could have needed. We walked down tree lined streets to the city street car and were able to tour the entire city, then return to the comfort of a lovely southern home. We hope to return for a week this summer.
