The chalet is near the top of Old Mansfield Road on a 5-acre parcel surrounded by trees and vegetation. There are some neighbors in the area, but the chalet is very private and quiet. The chalet is about a 10 minute drive to Mad River Glen and 20 minutes to Sugarbush. Burlington Airport is about a 1 hour drive.
There are numerous shopping areas in Waitsfield about a 20 minute drive from the chalet. The chalet has plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, and 4-wheel drive is recommended since the access road is a dirt road. The dirt road is plowed throughout the winter.
