A perfect place to stay on the river....

My family shared this wonderful cabin with another family for a week in October 2009. We have been coming to Estes for almost 20 years and this was our favorite cabin. We stay in different cabins each year but always on the river. There were 4 adults and 4 children (ages 1-5) in our group. There was plenty of room in this spacious cabin for the adults to sit and chat while the kids played pool or watched DVDs downstairs. I love being so close to the river. You can fall asleep listening to the river and can catch fish as well. We made smores in the firepit area and had a blast lounging in the hot tub after numerous hikes in the park. The kitchen is fully stocked with supplies and the large kitchen table with views of the river was a great place to eat. We grilled burgers and steaks on the grill and ate them outside on the deck. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this cabin.

Spent a week here in 2006 with parents, siblings and all our kids (ages 1 to 14). It was absolutely fabulous! Plenty of room and tons to do. Despite all the people it was the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken! We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

Wow! This home is awesome! My siblings and our families spent a glorious week - 8 adults, 2 teens, and 4 small children from 4 different states. This was our first vacation together and we made so many great memories. The house was perfect and nicely equipped for our large group. Loved the kitchen - plenty of dishes and cookware! The deck and patio overlooking the river are wonderful, not to mention the hammock and hot tub. It was heavenly sleeping in the master suite with cool air blowing through the windows and the sound of the rushing river lulling us to sleep. The kids and adults loved watching elk out on the front lawn! This is a great location, so peaceful and serene, to "recharge". This home is in close proximity to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots to see and do in the area. What a blessing our week was! We highly recommend this rental and look forward to the day we can return for another vacation here.

Stayed in the home last fall and what a great place. We've been going to Estes for more than a decade and won't ever stay anywhere but here again! The pictures are accurate but don't do it justice! Only steps from the river, the water is all you hear and looking out the windows or sitting on the deck & patio the scene is pure postcard- whitewater river in front of a forested mountain. It is very private and very accessible to both Estes and the Park, and is an easy walk to the Dunraven. It's furnished perfectly and the large family room in the basement was perfect for the kids to hang out in and play pool, games, and tv. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day after hiking. In summary, I don't know what would be better- it is 'perfect'!
