We wanted a home with top-quality finishes and a 1-min. walk either to the gondola and Lift #8, or to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. We found just that at 408 Pacific in Telluride. Voila -- welcome to our home in paradise!

Our family fell in love with Telluride in 1999. We've returned every year, renting all over town and in Mountain Village. When we decided to own a home in this very cool town, we limited our search to locations very close to the two centers of activity -- the gondola base and Main Street in Telluride.

This was our 1st time skiing/staying in Telluride. This home contributed wonderfully to our experience. The location is perfect for exploring town or accessing skiing/mountain village. Just grab your things and a two-minute walk has you on the free gondola. We stayed a week and never missed having a car. The owners were professional and sincere in their hospitality and took care of every detail. The home itself is tastefully decorated/casually elegant, very clean and well-maintained, and stocked with everything one needs while enjoying their vacation. We would definately stay here again.

Our family of 10 which included grandparents, teenagers, young children and adults spent a wonderful week in Telluride at this property. We never felt crowded and loved spending evenings "at home." The location is great, it is much closer to the gondola than we are ever able to park our car at a ski resort. Everyone agreed that the house was spectacular and we would definitely love to return for a another visit.

We spent four nights at this great home in the heart of Telluride during Brews & Blues. We had my parents, my brother's family of 4, and our family of 4 and had plenty of room for everyone! Layout worked very well with three "adult" bedrooms plus a bunk room that held 4 kids with no problem. The kitchen and family room were well stocked and included extra touches designed to enhance the vacation experience -- games, movies, sound system, cozy blankets, popcorn popper, etc. The family that owns the house truly understands customer service and ensured that we had all the information we needed and had a home that would ensure we were happy. The local contact was fabulous and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend this property for any season. We never needed our car as everything is steps away. Thanks to Charlie and his family for sharing their home with us :)

My family rented both units for a family reunion this past week and had a great time. The location is perfect for access to all aspects of Telluride, if you drive, park your car and forget about it. The goose stops out front, the gondola is feet from the door, and everything is within walking distance. The amenities are spot on, both units are very comfortable, and provided us with all of our needs. Charlie checked in on us a few times by phone to make sure everything was OK, but realistically there wasn't anything missing, we will definitely keep this in mind for a future year.

My family and friends stayed in this beautiful home over our February school break. The house is beautiful, well equipped, immaculate, and just steps to the gondola, trails, shops, and restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the freedom of walking to and from town and even rode the Gondola over to Mountain Village to ski school by themselves! There were games, cards, and dvds - just want we needed after long days of skiing. We all had a blast and can't wait to come back!

This property could not be more beautifully appointed or conveniently located. The home is very comfortable and is a pleasure to be in. The interior design is gorgeous, the appliances are first rate and you can feel right at home the moment you arrive. Being within a block form the gondola is a very big deal. It makes getting to and from the mountain a snap and you are also close to downtown. Thanks, Charlie, for hosting us. We could not have had a better experience.

We've received these comments from a few different families via e-mail in the last few weeks: “Your house was so well equipped and so easy to live in … It was so thoughtfully put together - we made popcorn, played scrabble, watched movies and cooked dinner for friends (and thanks for having an electric mixer, lots of spices and great pots!) … appreciated the perfect location - it was closer than we expected to everything - the gondola of course, but even to Honga's or Clarke's - everything is walkable from there … The cleanliness of everything. We are clean freaks, and a lot of rental houses can be grubby. Yours was pristine of course. The baths, the sheets, the carpet - all fresh and clean … A great caretaker is a big plus. Amy really cares - there was no task too big or small, and the cleaning person she brought in did a very good job … All in all, it was terrific; we look forward to staying there again … wishing we were still at your beautiful house!”
