This was our first time renting from VRBO so we were concerned about the condition of the property, the cleanliness, location etc. So before booking the condo I called the owners and spoke to Terry. She answered all my questions and concerns and made me feel very comfortable. I must say she gave a very accurate description of the property. It is a very nice, super clean, well equipped condo right on the beach. The location is awesome, very safe, quiet, peaceful...just what we were looking for. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise every morning and started our day with long walks on the beach. The kids had an amazing time. There are lots of restaurants and grocery places around this property. We cooked as well as ate out. We will surely be back and stay for a longer time next time. Terry and Del, thank you for making our vacation special. Happy New Year!

Perfect Honeymoon !! Amazing Condo.

We would like to personally extend our greatest of gratitude to the wonderful owners of this condo.From the beggining in making our arrangements, to the very last little detail to the last minute we were there, we could not have been more pleased and appreciative of how very nice these folks were to work with. The condo itself is nothing short of perfect. Pictures do not do it justice. Our unit was very neat and clean, very comfortable and inviting, and just a sheer delight to be there for 8 days. We enjoyed it so much, through out our 8 days, we totally blew off other arrangements for tours and day trips just because we found it just way too enjoyable hanging out at the condo, at the pool, at the tiki bar, sitting on the front porch watching and listening to the waves come in. Words cannot describe it! My new wife and I are already planning to make this our annual anniversary trip- to revisit this exact condo. The cleanliness of the condo, the friendliness and cleanliness of the entire rest of the resort and everything in between was nothing short of spectacular. We had a rental car but, short of taking a drive on the beach a couple times, this is a great location for anyone flying in without transportation because, between the resort itself, and other ammenities within a short walks distance, you could certainly fully enjoy yourself without a vehicle here. The pools were well kept by friendly staff. The resorts food and beverage staff were fantastic as well. Even the groundskeeper out trimming and picking up the pool area in the morning was nice and personable. I just cannot say enough about this beautiful condo and resort area. And, that's all before I even mention sipping coffee every morning on your own front porch watching the waves come in as the sunrises.!!! Definitely a primo location if you want to watch sunrises. Thank you to the owners for a memorable honeymoon and we are looking forward to returning again. !!!

We reserved this unit mid week, probably during shoulder season. The place was so clean and comfy. Location to amenities was perfect, beach and pool just steps away from the door! Very nice grocery store and drug store just across the street. The living area and kitchen are great. If we were staying longer we would've cooked. All the cooking supplies were there and in new condition. The king size bed was very comfortable and clean. The two televisions were new and the picture was crisp on both. The bathroom was clean as well. The shower curtain hangs on a curved hotel rod. The unit is very well laid out and the owners are very accommodating. I want to come back real soon.

Wonderful stay! Unit was extremely clean, convenient, & nicely equipped. This was our first trip going to the beach without a car. We didn't need it at all. Easy walk to groceries, & restaurants. Loved the ease of the ground floor unit, with beautiful view of the beach. Resort & beach was very clean w/ friendly staff. We will rent one of these units again if we return to Daytona. My family and I stayed in condo #108 after a few days of park hopping in Orlando. I have to say, arriving in Daytona is when the real vacation began. We loved the location of this condo and the convenience of walking right out the door onto the pool patio and then onto the sand. No crowded elevator or lobby to contend with. As the mother of 2 teenagers, it was a load off of my mind to have that peace of mind. The condo was clean and though small, laid out very well and suited our needs perfectly. There was nothing like morning coffee on the patio as the sun came up! The kitchen was more than sufficient when cooking meals because you have everything you need. There is also a grocery store and several shops right across the street within walking distance. We loved our stay and regret that it could not have been longer. For a family on a budget, this condo fits the bill. If you are looking for a new, high-rise with granite countertops and updated fixtures, this is not for you. If location, view, convenience is what you are after, you cannot go wrong with this condo. Also, to make things even better, Terry was great to work with and was so good about getting back with me and answering all of my questions. We look forward to visiting again!

Everything was as described. The view however, was better than advertised. The ocean is there to greet you every time you look out the window or open the door. The patio was perfect for all our beach toys/chairs at night and great for enjoying a mimosa at sunrise!! The accessibility of being on the ground floor made our stay that much more relaxing!!! Being able to walk to the pool within seconds was a big plus. The kids pool with the cascading mushroom waterfalls was really fun. The pool area isn't loud at all and the fountains don't come on too early or stay on too late. Everything about the condo and the property were first class. Very happy with our stay and are already planning on coming back next year.

I don't usually send a letter of appreciation to a lodging service, but the treatment we received during our stay warrants the following accolades. A delightful find perfectly located steps away from restaurants and shopping.A beautiful view, especially the sunrises. The condo was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The fully equipped kitchen was great and saved us a lot of money. This place is heaven for beach lovers.The amenities are great, indoor and outdoor pools, spas, free internet, exercise room and in house restaurant and bar. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

This condo is very clean & comfortable with all the amenities as described. We love the private patio within steps of the pools and the amazing beach. It's so great in the morning to open the curtains & be able to see the water & beautiful sunrises. In addition to the 2 outdoor pools & kiddie pool there is an indoor pool & whirlpool which was enjoyable on the rare rainy days. It is a very convenient location with Publix,Beals, & Walgreens across the street and many great restaurants in walking distance. Terry is very quick to answer any questions and very pleasant & helpful. The hotel staff were also very good. We look forward to our return next year.

Fantastic ground floor condo with private patio and walk out to beautiful pool area. Just a few more steps and you are the beach. Very clean condo has small kitchen and living room and separate bedroom area. Owners were terrific to deal with and just a few days after leaving deposit check was returned to us. Resort staff were genuinely nice to deal with. The nightly fee charged by the resort to park a small trailer on the lot was a little steep, but ultimately worth it. Beautiful place at a terrific rate. Thanks for allowing us to use your condo. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and i stayed here for a four night stay on our 20th Anniversary. The info given to me about the place and the surroundings were to the tee. This is on the first floor with access right to pool area and the beach. Two pools and a kiddie pool. Yes kiddie pool is outside of door, but you really couldn't hear them. Plus we have kids and grandkids. The view is awesome, I wook up early one morning to check out the sunrise view and I just had to pull curtain back to an AWESOME view. But also went out to sit on porch to watch. There are resturants within walking or a very short drive. Walgreens is across street. Publix ( grocery store ) is right across the street. The resort is very nice has a pool bar and inside bar that serves food at times. The staff was very nice. Parking was great. My wife and I have stayed at alot of places in the 22 years together and this, I would say is the most RELAXING AND COMFORTABLE place to stay. You will enjoy.

LOVE not having to traverse elevators with younger children (mine is 8) - you can let kids have lunch & take a break from the sun, watch TV or play video games while you are in the sun or pool and you're still just steps away. It's very safe there, family oriented. Beach bar is added plus to make you feel like you get to have a little grown up fun too.

My vacation at Daytona Beach Resort

This the 2nd year at this resort, we just love it, it's nice to have a ground floor unit, we walk out the door and there is the pool or the beach right at our convience. We had a another couple with us and they stayed at the other unit right next ot us also and they had such a good time they a looking forward to next year's vaction. There is so much too do, Went to the NASCR Races, Sea World, Busch Gardens, I think a need a vacation from the vaction lof. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is the place. everything is so handy, grocery stores, and shopping centers. The only thing though if you are planning a vacation don't do it on July 2-9 beacuse WE are planning to go back, No just kidding. The owners are very helpful and nice and the place is always clean and everything is right there for you just like home. Here is a beautiful and restfull place for vacation. Hope you are able to go Dayton Beach Resort and have a good time like we did!!!!!!!

The suite and furnishings were as described. The access to the pools, beach, and side parking lot was great. We were surprised that the unit was so soundproof...a wedding party was next door and we had no issues with noise (upstairs either). Also, every member of staff from various departments were pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the pools, Tiki Bar, and restaurant. Communication with owners was excellent and we look forward to staying there next year.

Daytona Vacay

Went to Daytona Beach since it was a convenient location to visit the beach, Orlando and Kennedy Space Center all on the same trip. The location was just about perfect to accomplish that agenda. We really enjoyed the Daytona Beach Resort property, the pools were very nice and the beach was exquisite. The rental was clean and very much as depicted in the photos. I was a bit shocked when I saw how there was really no way to close the bedroom off from the living room, but we just set up our daughter's pack and play in the entry way and it seemed to work out pretty well. Overall, I would definitely recommend the property if someone I know was going to Daytona Beach. Terry and Del were great to work with and things went very smoothly with an amazingly fast return of our security deposit. Thanks for the great vacation opportunity!!

Our family stayed for a wonderful week in the 3 units and loved every minute. Our grandchildren had a fantastic time and everything was so convenient - the kiddie pool and the other large pools and of course the ocean! We were so pleased with the accommodations. This condo is a must!!! So convenient. Everything we needed was there. Very clean and the turnaround for the deposit was within 24 hours. We will definitely stay here again. And I have recommended this condo to all of our family and friends. The Gaiers were most accommodating and wonderful people to deal with. Our stay was quite nice. The condo had plenty of room for the 3 of us. I did think, from the description, that the bedroom was more private. So, needless to say, I am glad that we had just family, and not friends, sharing the condo. Our stay was nice and quiet, except for a few very loud mechanical room noises. We enjoyed the ground floor access to the pools and the ocean. We would not want it any other way. Thanks for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful vacation in this resort/condo. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed and was extremely clean. There were even beach chairs and toys for the kids to play with. There was also the convenience of having the grocery store within walking distance. The owners also responded promptly to receipt of payment, questions and returning the deposit. Anyone staying there will have a great time.

This was a perfect condo for my daughter, wife, and I. The ground floor made the beach and pool so accessible. The pool is literally 15 feet out the back patio door. My family and i stayed at this location and it was as beuatiful as described. The Hotel is immaculate and very well maintained, three pools outsid, one inside, a gym, restaurant, etc. The Poolside room is defenitely the way to go! Room is clean and well maintained. Easy access to pool and beach, poolside bar, etc. I strongly recommend staying at this lcoation.

We recently stayed in Terry and Del Gaier 's condo. They were great to work with in answering any questions we had as well as promptly sending and completing the paper work. The condo was very nice! It is the second one from the end of the hotel which makes for great access....simply walk along the side of the building to the back and there it it! The unit was very clean and well kept. There was plenty of room for two adults and two tenagers (we did have a twin blow up bed so they didn't have to share the sofa bed). The only down side was that the one bedroom doesn't have a door....it is open to the rest of the unit and there is no washer/dryer in the actual unit, The pool deck at the Daytona Beach Resort is the best we saw all along that section of the beach and it is only three miles from the pier where the Beach walk shops and other activies are....it is a great place to stay! There is a Walgreens and Publix grocery store right across the street as well as several place to eat within walking distance. The beach is very clean and there was very little traffic on the beach the week we were there! We look forward to visiting again! Thanks Terry and Del for the use of your condo! We hightly recommend it to anyone looking for great place to stay in Daytona!

Dear Terry and Del We rented your unit # 108 and we loved this one. All is perfect and clean and the kitchen is more complete for cookware. Nothing is missing wine glasses, blender, spices, ect .... We have already rented another unit on a higher floor but we liked this particular unit on the pool for close to going to the beach with our chairs, umbrellas and bags without having to go down any stairs or the elevator. The owners were very courteous and it was very easy to communicate with them. The Daytona Beach Resort is still a great place for the proximity of conveniences, for tranquility, for cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. Relaxing vacation, perfect location!

We have stayed here two years in a row and find Daytona Beach Resort to be the perfect location. It is within walking distance of restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores and pharmacies. It is just outside (yet conveniently close) to the downtown Daytona Beach area which gives it a more relaxed atmosphere. When we stay here we are able to disconnect from our everyday lives and sometimes lose track of time. It is quiet and nobody bothers us. This particular unit is very convenient from the lobby, with no long walks down the hall or elevators to wait for. There is also a side (secure) exit close to the unit. Access to the parking deck through the resort is an added convenience. We hope to spend more time here in the future.

Great Ocean View, Great Access to the Beach

We absolutely loved our stay in Unit 106. The entire resort is well maintained. Parking was ample and the front desk staff was courteous. This unit was great because you had direct pool/beach access rather than having to enter the pool area through the resorts main lobby. I took along 3 teenage girls and this condo was perfect because they could come and go from the beach/pool area for lunch, snacks and drinks. The Gaiers were great to deal with. I always received prompt answers to any questions I received and my security deposit reimbursement almost beat me back home! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful property and I hope to come back sometime soon!

My husband, kids and the rest of our family just got back from spending a fabulous 10 days in Daytona Beach. We loved the room, especially being on the ground floor and right by the kids pool. We enjoyed sitting outside our room enjoying the sounds of the ocean and being able to watch our kids play. It was very convenient. The room was very clean and exactly what we were told it would be. We will definitely be staying here again!

Myself, my husband and my two sons stayed in this unit in July of 2010. It was better than described. The location is wonderful...just walk off of the patio onto the pool deck. If you are interested in a beach view you still have a wonderful view even though you are on the bottom floor. I highly recommend this unit. The Gaier's were great to deal with and I would definitely rent from them again. My family would love to rent the two adjacent units next year so that other family members can travel with us. This was one of the cleanest resorts we have stayed at...the maintenance crew was constantly cleaning. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your unit!

We spent the 4th of July weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very accomadating and assisted us throughout the process. The cono is very clean and well furnished. The DBR complex has a good location, the staff is friendly and the check in was easy. We will definately stay here on our next visit. Randy

We had an absolute fabulous time staying here. The rooms were very clean and very well maintained. The location of the rooms were perfect for quick access to the beach through the pool area. Having the three rooms next to each other made it really convenient to have meals prepared for the entire family. Terry and Del were very polite in answering any questions we had about the rooms and really made us feel welcome while only talking to them over the phone and through e-mail. Also the resort is very beautiful and the staff is very helpful. We are really looking forward to staying with Terry and Del again. Thanks for a great stay. Shayne & Lora

Dear Terry and Del, Thank you very much for the beautiful stay at Daytona Beach. It was the best vacation that I have had ever! We Love It! It Was GREAT!! The food was wonderful. The view, the people, the room, the air it was all Great!. The best! Kevin and I enjoyed everything. The mushroom Pool was s so neat. We wanted to stay forever. LOL! Next year I would love to take 2 of my best friends there. I showed them pictures of everything there. They Loved it. They agreed with me on the beautiful view of the room, Hope to stay there again soon.. LOL … Once again Thank Yall very much!

Had a great time 1st floor was awesome. Suggest that you put a towel rack over bathroom door for more space. Across the street is everything that you need no reason to drive anywhere.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Relaxing, Luxurious on an Impeccable White Sand Beach

My best friend and I came to Daytona Beach Resort for a girls' weekend in April. The hotel is offset slightly from the main strip, which gave it an exclusive and private feel. The suite was wonderful, and spacious. We were able to do the majority of our cooking in the kitchenette, which is outfitted with everything you could need. Additionally, the Resort is located directly across the street from a grocery store, so we were able to cook some fabulous meals to enjoy on the patio that looks out to the pool! We also ate local seafood, and at the hotel's restaurant, which has a delicious and extensive menu, and a lovely patio. There is a small convenience store next to the restaurant, where we were able to buy wine and any other small needs that came up. The resort staff was cheerful, helpful, and helped us plan our days. They were truly local experts! We spent everyday strolling on the gorgeous beaches, walking to the main strip for some fun, or luxuriating by one of the hotel's three crystal clear pools. We took a boat tour out in the sound one day, and saw dolphins and manatees. The tour was very inexpensive, as we found all of Daytona to be incredibly affordable. I cannot wait to go back with a large group and go out for a day on a fishing boat, which are readily available. Just ask the Resort staff for brochures! We also spent a day at the spa in Daytona Beach Resort, where we got manicures, pedicures, and the most amazing massages of our lives! My friend and I were both incredibly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the suite. Wi-Fi was free in the room, so I was able to keep in touch with work and life back home. However, being at this resort, you'll forget why you need to go back! This will certainly be somewhere I spend my vacations in the future. My communications with the owners were extremely friendly, and they were very generous and straight-forward. I would not rent vacation property from anyone else! They clearly put a lot of effort into the maintenance of their condo. You will enjoy your stay without a doubt, and most certainly see a refined side of Daytona you didn't know existed.
