My family and I recently shared this large, comfortable home with 3 other families over our 2013 winter break vacation. We loved all of the many rooms it offered, as well as the proximity to Diamond Peak (great, affordable place to take young kids). The house is situated in a quiet, upscale neighborhood next to a golf course. There were many sledding, walking and jogging options in the neighborhood. The kitchen, outer deck and large living room made for some cozy evenings by the fire. This is a great place for family reunion, or a large gathering of families with young kids. Have fun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home which is SO great for privacy, 3 areas for different groups to gather and chat...living room, another area in a balcony above the living room and then a 3rd area in a private suite complete with TV, couches, etc. The layout is so perfect for large groups with different interests and ages. We loved cooking on the big gas barbecue out on the deck and of course the hot tub was so enjoyable. The home had wireless Internet and a very large flat screen HD TV. No through traffic on the cul de sac which was nice. The sound of a nearby stream and the aroma of pine trees was just intoxicating. We will come back again and again to this very special home for our family vacation. We also liked the big friendly kitchen where we could gather around and harass the cook. 5 chairs there and also a spacious dining room that seats 12. About the owner: The owners, Ken and Marilyn Erickson, live in Sedona Arizona. Marilyn is a professional working artist and has a studio-gallery in Sedona in Creekside Plaza. In the same Plaza they have Ken's Creekside Restaurant. Ken in the past has had lead roles as a singer in well known Broadway type plays in the LA area. He continues to occasionally sing in the restaurant while meeting and chatting with the guests.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We chose Incline Village as a beautiful place to live which we enjoyed for a number of years before we moved to Sedona Arizona. Now our vacationers can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Lake Tahoe area as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
During winter months the home is a mile away from Diamond Peak and the slopes can be seen from the home. It is a very inspiring and beautiful ski area with special programs for small children and the best rates around Tahoe. During the summer the hiking, boating, swimming and sightseeing is breathtaking. Biking is another wonderful opportunty around Incline with special extensive bike paths. Just the intoxicating aroma of pine trees and the sound of the stream rushing is an additional pleasure!
