My wife and I grew up in The Netherlands and moved to SC in 1994. We love the ocean and own our second home on the 13th floor in the North Tower where we spend much of our time in the summer. We love boating, swimming, shopping, have a glass of wine on the balcony looking at the boats going by. There is much more activity to look at on the inter coastal waterway then at the beach.

The condo was wonderful. There were 4 couples staying there over a 4 day weekend and we never felt crowded since the place was so big. The view in the evening was beautiful. Can't wait to stay here in the summer and enjoy the pool. My only recommendation to those planning to stay is pick up some extra toilet paper on your way in.

I took my daughter and some friends to Myrtle Beach for a graduation present. We stayed in this condo and enjoyed all the space. It was very clean and roomy. The condo was as nice as it looked in the photos and the owners were very helpful and always returned calls and emails within a few hours. However, I was disappointed with how far the condo was from the beach. I had the impression we could walk to the beach, which is NOT possible unless you were going on a power walk and not carrying anything. I knew I could not afford a beachfront property but really wanted to be able to walk to the beach easily. This made the trip more difficult as everyone had to decide when they wanted to go and leave the beach (we only had one car and we didn't try the shuttle). I felt like I was mislead by this. Also, I wanted to grill at the condo and for this enormous complex they only had two small CHARCOAL grills, not even gas. That frustrated me as we did not want to eat out all the time. Overall the actual unit is beautiful but there really isn't a "view" of the beach except way in the distance. If you don't care about being by the beach, the pool is nice and the view of the intercoastal is pretty. I did feel like the whole place would be more "resort" ish than it turned out to be.

Where can I start? The condo was spacious, clean, it was definetly set up nice. The view was great, overlooking "everything". I've been going to Myrtle Beach area for over 25 years and this is the 1st time I've stayed on the waterway. It's the place to be. The restuarant by the pool was excellent, I wasn't expecting great food, but it was excellent and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to anyone. We are already planning our next stay.
Owner response:The Docksiders Grille is definately a wonderful addition to the resort. They deliver to the pool and our condo too! Every night a different Live Band is entertaining on the patio for everone to enjoy. The manmade beach is a big hit too.Volleyball and Bocceball are just a few of the activities next to the pool. The Monday night fireworks at Barefoot Landing are wonderful to watch, conveniently from your balcony. You cannot ask for better seats! Truus and Ben

I have stayed in this condo a few times now and have never been disappointed! The place is exceptionally clean, the view is phenomenal and the owner's are very friendly and helpful and make it their priority to ensure you have a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. This place is wonderful and can comfortably fit larger groups. It's got a fantastic view of the beach and is walking distance to golf courses, Barefoot Landing and the beach! Will definitely be coming back!

This was a very pleasant experience.The condo was better than described.If you visiting the myrtle beach area i would definitely consider this accommodation for a small to medium size family or for a golfing foursome.The condo was clean and well organized.It is well equipped for self catering with laundry included.There was adequate linens for our five day stay.We had a question for the owners and they returned our call within five minutes.Very professional.We will be using this unit annually if available.

My family stayed at this condo 8/13 - 8/21 of 2010. The owner was very accommodating when we wanted to add an additional night to our stay. Overall the place was outstanding, the pool was excellent and there was a shuttle over to the beach. With four bedrooms, everyone got their own room and TV. Its a great vacation property to golf the North Myrtle Beach courses. I was new and uneasy with renting through VRBO, but the owners made everything go smooth and were available to answer all our questions. I highly recommend this property, and will be staying here again !!!

We stayed at this location the week of July 4th and enjoyed it very much. We could watch the fireworks from our balcony which also overlooked the pool. We would recommend this place for anyone looking for a well maintained condo which is large enough to accommodate 10 people easily. The owner is friendly and very helpful in any questions you may have. Be sure to visit the Barefoot Landing shops and also the House of Blues. Several restaurants and entertainment are nearby and too numerous to mention.
