  We were fortunate to fall upon this rental property. We could not have asked for a more beautiful location. Walking distance to the beach. Every morning we woke up early to go to a viewing point with lots of sea turtles. The rental itself was amazing. Clearly the owners enjoy nice things because it shows in this recently remolded unit. Granite counter tops with everything you need to make it feel like home. We have rented many places over the years and often times the rentals are emptied out of things like tin foil, paper plates etc. Not this place which makes you want to leave something for the next person. There is tennis gear, snorkeling gear, chairs, mats, ice chests and much more. Property management is extremely responsive. They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are planning 2 weeks in Kauai and we wished we had booked the two weeks at this location. We will be back and we will tell our friends about this PERFECT rental! This is a 5 plus star!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  What a great home base this was for our latest visit to Kauai. We love the Poipu area of the island and have stayed in many places nearby over the years. This condo is by far the nicest accommodation yet. Beautifuly decorated and stocked with anything you might need. Spotlessly clean and well maintained made it easy for us to settle in and feel quite at home from the moment we entered. Plenty of comfort here and we had the pleasure of being the first to stay after a major remodel. We shared the unit with another couple and there was no lack of room or privacy. The master bedroom is quiet and the master bath has a great shower. We used the great pool almost daily and made good use of the BBQ areas.The grounds of this complex are well maintained and clean. The location is superb as well. Close to Koloa town for groceries, shopping and some low cost dining options. It's also great spot to head out on morning walks with no shortage of trails or routes which take you through many scenic surroundings. It's an easy walk to the Grand Hyatt for evening cocktails and entertainment. The Saturday farmers market in Koloa is always a must do if you like locally grown produce and flowers. And from here it's an easy drive to many of Kauai's beautiful natural and fun offerings. And if you consider Costco a beautiful offering, then it's an easy stop from the airport to stock up on food for your stay. Our friends are avid golfers and they thoroughly enjoyed the great nearby courses. We'll definitely recommend this condo to friends and will definitely plan our next trip to Kauai based on the availability of this unit. It's that good. Aloha!

  Hi Scott, We had a fantastic stay. The accommodations were perfect for us. The location and proximity to Shipwrecks for surfing, and Poipu for snorkeling, surfing, boogie boarding, and beach, couldn't be beat. We loved the lanai being at the lawn. Traveled all over the island and always looked forward to that sweet spot we could call home. We hope to return to Kauai, and when we do we will be contacting you to stay there again.   We have stayed in several Poipu Sands condo units since the early 80's and this is our new favorite. The location in relation to the pool and parking area is superior. There is minimal noise from units upstairs. The tastefully furnished interior is a plus, we were even very impressed with tools in the kitchen. In most other units the utensils are so bad we bring our own. This time we didn't have to use our own pots and pans and cutlery because what was there is nice quailty. This is a big deal to us since we cook most meals in condo. The artwork is appreciated also.

  Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The unit is very much equipped with anything you would want. The kitchen did have everything...The only thing I couldn't find was a rice paddle. Not a criticism at all. As a retired interior designer I have one suggestion. The chair with ottoman in the living room keeps sliding back against the drapery when someone is sitting. You could buy two castor cups for the back legs and that would prevent it from sliding on the tile. I will recommend that unit to my friends and family. My cousin and his son who is 30, were thrilled with the condo. This was their first trip to Kauai. Faucets and light fixtures and all the portable fans were really nice to see. The thoughtfulness the owners had in case of a hot spell or no trades. Just a great amount of thought went into all the amenities for the guests. Sincerely, Jackie

  Just wanted to say we had a fantastic stay in #211. We were very impressed we all the small touches in the unit and how well stocked it was. Most people cheap out on that and it was nice to find lots of small things like dishwasher detergent, garbage bages, spices, etc. In addition the art was tasteful and felt authentic. All in all a very nice unit and we hope to rent it again one day.
