Whether traveling by yourself or with a large group, the Smith Place gives you the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the amenities this mountain valley has to offer.
The decks, porches and grounds give you an up close view of the Elkhorn Mountains and a panoramic view of the valley that stretches out below.
The gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings of the spacious living room lend themselves to gatherings of friends and family. An open floor plan allows those in the kitchen to be part of the festivities and the dining room can extend into the living room to seat large groups.
Baker City is and easy drive where shopping, spa's and eateries are plentiful.
A separate self contained guest house give an extra kitchen and bath and give those who want extra privacy a place to go. A bonus room off the large deck gives kids a game room of their own in case of inclement weather or in the evenings. The deck and connecting covered porch is a great place for outdoor affairs with good view of the grounds. There is ample room for lawn sports with in eyesight of the house.
This site has been used in the past by visiting teams where curfews are easy to enforce and allows the preparation of home cooked meals.
