Sunny and bright, comfortably decorated, this 2-level townhome complete with rooftop deck and gorgeous sunset views overlooking the marine blue Pacific Ocean and an enclosed back courtyard patio and garden, can provide an ideal relaxing vacation for those that seek calm. Although the variety of sightseeing venues provided throughout San Diego might require a car, while you are in this home in La Jolla Village, a car is not necessary.
Beaches and the La Jolla coastline walk are 3-4 blocks away where you can explore the wonders of tide pools, watch the local seals and sea lions romp in the surf and laze on the shore, and choose your own favorite spot to picnic and play in the sand. Even foggy days offer a warm, cozy mood for the 3 gas log fireplaces in this home.
Starbucks, frozen yogurt shops, El Pescador Fish Market, Wahoos Fish Tacos, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, CVS, VONS grocery, BEVMO, drycleaners, hair and nail salons, many more restaurants and boutiques, all are a few blocks from the front door. The best treat is Sunday morning farmer’s market a few blocks away, complete with California fresh veggies, fruits, prepared food vendors and crafts. And down the street is the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art, and scrumptious café, and the Rec center with outdoor basketball and tennis courts.
Just bring your suitcase, because everything else has been provided. The kitchen has everything even the most experienced chef would need, with granite top counters, a cooking island, and an attached family room with fireplace, HDTV flat screen, and doors leading out to the back courtyard patio with dining and lounging furniture. Basic kitchen supplies , seasonings, detergents, paper goods will be on hand. Cozy sitting room, dining room and guest half-bath complete the first level for entertaining. On the second floor is the Master bedroom with a custom-built California king size bed with 2 separate Sleep Comfort mattresses, fireplace, flat screen HDTV. An attached master bath with marble floor and counters, walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub complete the master retreat. The sunny second bedroom faces the front of the house with ocean views and Queen bed. The middle guest room has twin beds. The second full bathroom with shower/tub and twin sinks is down the hall across from a laundry closet with full-sized washer and dryer. The roof deck has a full sized platform “bed” and 2 large lifeguard chairs for lounging. One car garage. Plenty of additional street parking. This is truly a fabulous and comfortably decorated ocean view Village retreat.
Custom birdhouses, miniature citrus trees and a rose garden complete the aura of peaceful relaxation. All you have to do is come and enjoy!!!!

My wife, two daughters and I stayed at the property in April 2010. We were delighted with the fully equipped kitchen and excellent bedrooms. The house is light and airy and in a fantastic location, only 5 minutes walk to the sea, 10-15 minutes to the center of La Jolla with its great shops and restaurants, and only steps away from El Pescador, which must be the best fresh fish and sea food café in Southern California. The management went the extra mile to look after us and make our stay perfect.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
