Beautiful Ocean Front --Cabin
- Minimum stay:2 nights
- Internet:No
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
This is an old cabin on a secluded 4 acres that has been renovated. It is very comfortable and has a tremendous view of the ocean. There is a path down the cliffs to the ocean for tide pool looking and for fishing but children should be kept back from the edges of the property bordering the ocean as the cliffs might crumble. There is a beach close by that can be walked to. It will sleep 8 easily but because of one bathroom we have a limit of 8 unless other arrangements are made. Guests must provide own linens and towels and take home garbage. This keeps the cost of the rental down. Its one of the best spots on the coast.

My family and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the cabin. Hands down, the ocean view is what makes this place so special - it sits on an exceptional piece of property where you can see and hear the sounds of the waves crashing throughout the day and see a picture perfect sunset every evening. You can choose to sit close to the edge of the cliff on this neat little red bench (or nap), or sit on one of several lounge chairs close to the property, or take in the view from a large window in the living room. It has 3 bedrooms (2 rooms have queens - one room faces the ocean and has outdoor access; the 3rd room has a full and twin bed and a bunk bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area right off the living room and a little dining nook too. The bathroom is down the hall. The dining area has a chaise-type lounger right against the large window looking out to the ocean which we all agreed was super comfortable and the perfect place to nap. If you are looking for a rental with brand-spanking new everything, this is not the place for you. The home could use some updating, but everything was clean and comfortable. Working with the owner was very easy and pleasant. And the home is close to the main road for easy access to other beach areas or into town. There is a small specialty grocery market nearby (can't remember the name) but it is pricey. If you drive a bit north up Highway 1 you will find a much more reasonably priced Safeway. Overall, we had a lovely time and will most likely come back when vacationing with the family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children.

This old cabin sits on a sensational piece of property with an unforgettable view of the ocean and the crashing waves. There is a bench down on the cliff over the ocean to sit and read and enjoy a glass of wine and read. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are fine. The property was clean and I'd recommend the place to anyone. It's also about 5 minutes from Harvest Market which is a large gourmet market with everything you could get in a large city.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My wife and I rented the cabin for 3 nights and had a blast. It was a stormy weekend so we couldn't do a lot of exploring out on the rocks, but the fireplace was warm, rented some movies, made a couple of wonderful dinners and really enjoyed the views. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you for making the transaction so easy. We watched the whales spout from the bedroom! How cool is that?Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners.

For the second year in a row we were able to book this wonderful old beach home for a birthday weekend celebration. Wonderful folks to work with. The place is rustic, but full of character and so very cozy. There is no way to describe the view other than "awesome!" The pictures really don't do it justice. Waking up to the roar of the ocean right outside the door in this very private corner of the world is indescribable. And sitting on the bench with a glass of wine to watch the sunset gives you an entirely different perspective on life! The cabin itself gives you all you need right down to a tablecloth and candles. We cooked-in and barbecued every night, even though town is literally five minutes away. Highly recommend doing lunch at Noyo Harbor at Carine's -crab sandwich and burgers to die for! Love the place and hope to return again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This summer my sister, her boyfriend, her son, and my boyfriend all rented this house out for 3 nights. All I can say is WOW. We have been coming to Fort Bragg since we were little girls and this vacation rental made our experience amazing. We looked all over for a rental that wasn't outstandingly priced and this seemed to be a perfect fit. With 2 bedrooms plus an extra little sleeping area at the end of the hall it was perfect for all 5 of us. We definitely could have fit more people with all the extra beds but like the owner states, the one bathroom can be tricky for a ton of people. We loved the drive down the private driveway and how secluded the house was. Every morning we would sit out on the red bench, drink our coffee, and listen to the waves. Yes, it is old, but it has SO much character. I would buy this house if I ever had the chance. The owners were VERY easy to work with. We will definitely be coming back next summer hopefully with some more family so we can show off this cute little place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This cabin is on a stunning piece of ocean front. Close to town and very comfortable. The house was clean and offered everything one would need to have a relaxing weekend. The red bench is the perfect spot to sit and watch the Pacific. We had a wonderful time and would certainly visit again. Thanks!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This Cabin was the best Fort Bragg Rental we have ever used....it was Roomy, Comfortable, Cozy and the View was Awesome. We heard the waves through out the day. This is a rustic place not modern but very comfortable and you work around the shortcomimgs ei no dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer and dryer. Otherwise it felt like home. the dogs loved the roaming areas. my dog is quite old and kept trying to go down the cliff...He could go down ok but had a hard time coming back up. It was so quite and peaceful, cant wait to go back again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children.
