If you are looking for a great place for a large gathering or family reunion, this is your place! Trillium Lodge is located on 40 private acres only 4 miles from Ohiopyle State Park with beautiful views overlooking the Yough River Valley and Ohiopyle. It is an ideal setting for a family reunion or for friends looking for a gathering spot since there is plenty of room for the group to spread out.
The main floor included a great room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. On the lower level is a partial kitchen and game room (great place for kids to entertain themselves). No need to bring any extra dished, pots, pans or any other essentials for your group! All linens and towels are provided.
The view off the deck is spectacular and one of the best ones in the area. Enjoy it from the hot tub, the rocking chairs on the patio or from the enormous deck off the great room. There is a pond on the property that is very refreshing in the summer and don't forget the marshmallows for the bonfire area.
Whitewater Rafting, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing and the Great Allegheny Passage Rail Trail are only minutes from Trillium Lodge in Ohiopyle PA. There are activities for families with younger children and older adventure seekers alike!

Our group of 25 stayed here in June of 2011, and it was perfect. The owners had everything clean and ready upon our arrival and provided us with fans in all the rooms, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, and toilet paper in the bathrooms so we didn't have to worry about the little details. The setting was beautiful, and our group really enjoyed the deck overlooking the secluded hills, the hot tub, and the open floor plan of the main level. We used the nearby Wilderness Voyageurs for our white water rafting trip which was amazing. All the guides were knowlegeable and fun. The only downside is that this house address did not come up on anyone's GPS unit, so it was a bit hard to find in the dark. I would recommend getting detailed directions from the owners before driving. Other than that, there is not one negative thing to say about this house. We had a blast and are thankful for the opportunity to make memories with friends in such a lovely setting.

I have stayed at Trillium Lodge for weekends, spent one Christmas with a couple of my sisters and our families at the lodge, spent a week with my wife's family while other groups were also at the lodge, and had a super-fun all-cousins family gathering of around 20 a while back. It is a cozy and warm, unpretentious, family-friendly place set on a spectacular mountain with a huge wrap-around deck and a view that goes for miles and miles. The wide-open layout upstairs makes visiting and socializing a priority. No walls between dining room, kitchen, and huge living room make this a place for cooking and eating and lounging with any size group of friends or family. The cook-friendly kitchen is well-supplied, and my family and friends and I have had some amazing feasts and holiday meals at the Lodge. Outside downstairs there is a hot tub, really nice place for a soak and incredibly beautiful view. I would say for the truly fussy, or for people who cannot leave the house without a bottle of hand sanitizer, Trillium Lodge is not the place for you. But for me, and many family and friends, the Lodge is one of the best places we know to go and relax, and use as a base of operations for the amazing recreational activities in and around Ohiopyle. We took my sister-in-law there, and now her family and one of her social groups have used it for a retreat. We (because I am writing for about 30-40 miscellaneous friends and family) also love Wilderness Voyageurs. For so many reasons, but firstly the amazing staff, they are an incredibly outdoor adventure enterprise. With a super place to relax like Trillium Lodge, you feel refreshed and revitalized as you head off for incredible rafting, biking, fishing, and hiking, or like my family directly to the grocery store to plan the next feast.
