The coach house is a 700 sq. ft. suite tucked in behind our main house nestled in the garden, with easy access from the island highway; we are in an area known as "The Diamond" just north of Ladysmith, BC.
"The Diamond" was named because the railway tracks crossed here. The large piece of cast metal in the middle (called a Frog) was shaped like a diamond. Miners used to meet there, to board the mine trains, and it was often referred to as "The Diamond". The name has stuck to this day. Today it is a rural area of small acreages, just minutes from historical Ladysmith.
The coach house was finished in 2009, with much attention to detail. With one bedroom plus a den and luxurious linens, bath with heated tile floors, open concept kitchen, dinning and living room. The high ceilings and large windows make the suite bright and airy. A covered deck opens from the kitchen; it is a great spot for watching the deer in the neighboring field.

I am an avid gardener and love the outdoors, as well my dogs keep me busy hiking the local trails. Living on the 49th parallel has given me a wonderful climate to indulge my passions.
