Brand New! Beautiful large studio apartment on 2.5 acres in a nice subdivision on the Big Island. Come to Hawaii and get a slice of real life here. This lovely studio has everything you will need for a comfortable vacation with a perfect location approx 7 minutes to the nicest beaches on the Big Island. We have sun 300 plus days a year so you won't get rained out in this nice location. We are located at approx the 1600 ft elevation so you normally have a nice sleeping temperature without air conditioning.
At the bottom of our hill there is fishing, kayak rentals, scuba excursions or just lay on the white sand and soak up the sun or take a dip in the crystal clear ocean. The winter brings big surf and lots of boogie boarding, surfing, stand up paddle boarding or canoe paddling.
Volcanoes national park is approx 1 hr and 45 minutes away and you can still view the red lava at night or hike on one of the many fantastic park trails. We have snow on Mauna Kea (which means white mountain) in the winter and you can sit on the beach in 80 degree weather and view the snow in the distance. It turns pink at sunset and is an amazing sight.

Year Purchased: 2009
We moved back to Hawaii in 2004 after spending 14 years in Sun Valley, Idaho. I could never get use to the sun disappearing behind the mountains instead of dropping into the ocean at sunset. Two of our 3 kids were born and raised in Idaho and have spent their teenage years at the beach after learning to ski and ice skate as children. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and love having a large piece of property with a fantastic coastal view.
