The 1st floor includes the entry, storage/garage, living room, full bathroom, dining area, a bar and a well appointed kitchen. Watch surfers slide by from the wrap around deck. On 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed, 2 full bathrooms and a utility room. Enjoy whales, dolphins and turtles below your feet from the wrap around deck. The master suite occupies the entire top floor with views forever. Lounge, watch TV, or sleep the sleep of kings in the spacious master bedroom.

Gorgeous House and Views

Aloha! We stayed for only four nights this month, after spending three nights at a resort. I wish we had spent our entire week at this house, though. It was very clean, very well stocked with linens and kitchen ware, and had everything we needed for some real relaxation! The views from each of the three lanais are incredible. It was wonderful being able to sit and drink my morning coffee and watch the many colorful fish below me! We were in Hawaii celebrating our 20th anniversary, so having the entire 3rd floor master suite was so romantic! Our 12-year old son enjoyed having a bedroom on the 2nd floor, and he loved watching the ocean from the lanai! The house is walking distance to downtown Kona, and also to the Ali'i Gardens farmers market) in the other direction. The Ali'i Massage Center on the right on the way to town gave me one of the best massages EVER! We could see dolphins from the house, and then we did the Kona Dolphin Swim with Dolphin Discoveries ($15 off each, coupon online). There were only four of us on the boat (plus the captain) and we went snorkeling in the open ocean with a pod of about 30-40 dolphins. It was one of the most awe-inspiring things I've ever done! This was truly a trip we'll always remember, and we are already planning our trip back to this house for our 21st anniversary, and each year after that!!! Mahalo, Don!

Our stay at Ali'i Hale was incredible. We enjoyed two wonderful weeks celebrating our parents 80th birthdays. We each enjoyed our private access to the balconies from our bedrooms and our parents master on the 3rd floor was spectacular where we enjoyed evening gatherings together with the most fantastic views and sunsets. We were treated to colorful fish swimming in azure blue waters below our home, surfers catching the waves, and whales breaching in the distance. While the home is situated along the busy Alii Drive, you felt isolated from the bustle of the commuters. We enjoyed daily walks into Kailua to sample the many wonderful coffee shops along the drive. The home is well appointed and with laundry facilities on site, we were very much at home. Mahalo to both Don, with whom I communicated via emails and Gordon, our connection during our stay for their professionalism and caring that our stay was comfortable and memorable. My only regret is that we couldn't stay another week in our Kona paradise! I highly recommend this most spectacular home to everyone. We look forward to returning. Aloha

We just spent a week in this spectacular home. We sat on the decks and were able to see whales, dolphins and an array of colorful fish in the bay below us. We swam out in front of the house and were actually swimming with the dolphins! You can also snorkel just about 25 to 30 feet out and there are beautiful coral reefs and amazing fish. This home is very comfortable and such a bargain compared to staying in a motel. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and a barbeque. Even our teenagers enjoyed this vacation by having their own rooms and bathrooms. It's also very well decorated and stocked. Can't wait to come back!

We have stayed in this special home on two occasions, both for 3 week periods. It truly is a delightful place. The home is at the end of a small cove, and the waves come right to the home. There are 3 levels to the home, and the master bedroom and a huge lanai are on top. The views are spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the whales and dolphins. The sun sets directly across the ocean from the lanai. There often are surfers riding the waves as they roll into the cove, but the home has total privacy. Don and Gordon have the home stocked with just about everything, and they are very helpful and friendly. Mahalo for another terrific vacation, Don and Gordon!
