  We recently rented this house with 2 other families-- there were 14 of us total. The bunk room was great for the kids and the other bed rooms were ample and comfortable for the adults. The pool table and foosball table kept everyone busy and happy, as did the hot tub, right off the dining room on the deck. The house was so close to the mountain and we all found driving to the slopes very convenient. The kitchen was well supplied with top notch appliances and we were able to find everything we needed. The fireplace was well stocked with firewood and it made the living room cozy and comfy. It has a great layout for a large bunch. The owner could not have been more accomodating and easy to deal with. Next year we are hoping to come back and bring one more family-- this house can accomodate a great big group.

  This house was fantastic! It was HUGE and luxurious. The views were amazing. We were there for a girl's weekend and there were 11 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us and we took advantage of the hot tub with the amazing views. We also appreciated the fact that there was TONS of seating in the main living area. It was very cozy and peaceful. The town of Ludlow was cute and the house was very close to the town - Only about 1-2 minutes. If we come back to Ludlow, we will definitely be staying at this house! What a gem!

  My family gathered last weekend to celebrate the memory of our mom who passed away 5 years ago. We couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate family. The house was amazing. Every chair and bed was incredibly comfortable. There was enough things to do for all of us ages 12-82. We went kayaking, hiked the falls and rode the mountain coaster. But mostly we spent time together playing pool, hanging out in the hot tub and looking at the beautiful hills from the porch. The dining room table was large enough to enjoy great meals and card games together. With all the windows open you get a nice summer breeze into the house. The owner is very efficient and friendly to communicate with.

  I have rented through VRBO many times before and this was one of the easiest rentals ever. The property was everything they said it was and the owner very helpful and cordial. The hot tub was on and warm when we arrived and everything was clean and in order. We rented the house to celebrate my 50th Birthday with many friends in the area. The layout was perfect and accomodated everyone very well. We held most of the festiviities on back lawn that was more than spacious enough and afforded everyone a great view. I would definetly rent from this owner again and highly recommend it to families with lots of kids and friends. The only thing we missed was air conditioning. There were a few times when it was a little warm with the sun coming through the windows. We had great times at Buttermilk Falls and riding the mountain coaster. I would recommend the Irish Pub for comfort food and the Pot Belly Pub for casual dining as well. You have to try the "Black Rock" steak at Cool Moose Cafe. They bring you a seared steak that is raw in the middle and serve it on a 900 degree rock so you can cook it to your favorite temperature right at the table. It was fun but DON'T TOUCH THE ROCK!!!! Take it from me, it is HOT! If you go to Okemo, rent this house. You will not be disappointed.

  This house was absolutely fantastic! We rented the house to celebrate a “big” birthday and to bring the family together, and everything was perfect. The house common areas were large enough to fit a big crowd without everyone stepping on each other. The kooks and crannies allowed people to have their own space from time to time to either retire or for quiet conversations. This combined with the extras of the foosball table and pool table gave this family much entertainment, (and this is great with a competitive family.) The fire place was great, warm and inviting and the house was relaxing. The views are terrific and its location is great. It gives you a view of the mountain with a great view of the pond and surrounding area. The younger generation used the hot tub and found it relaxing and fun. The most important part of the family get together is meals. The long table allowed for all 20 of us to sit at the table and break bread. The kitchen is easy to work in and out of the way of the living area giving the family chef “Uncle Buck” and his sous chef “the designer” to put together great meals with much fun. The house is close to the mountain, close to shopping and town. This house is spectacular. Anyone who is looking for a place to stay that has plenty of room and that is warm and inviting … this is the place.

  I can not think of one part of this house that was not well-thought out! The well-equipped kitchen has a dining table that easily fit our 2 large families comfortably, not to mention the gorgeous view we had while eating. The view of the mountains, meadow and pond from inside the huge great room made it hard to leave the house during the day. This is probably the nicest mountain home I've ever rented. The house is incredibly well outfitted and maintained with the added entertainment of a pool table and foos ball table for both kids and adults. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. In addition, the owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay and very easy to work with.

  My family loves to vacation and this was our first to Vermont. Vermont is breath taking. The fall season was so nice now we want to visit in the summer and winter. Owners were very helpful since it was our first visit they guided us to all the area has to offer. The house is new,comfortable,fabulously decorated,clean ETC ETC.. This place has very thing a resort should have including the view from the back deck.We will be back.

  Spent a week at this great house and I called the owner to compliment the house. When the owner asked me to write a review, I was more then happy. Location for a summer family vacation is great. We had three families and there was more than enough space to separate the kids and adults. Field and pond behind the house were great with the kids and grand kids. Kitchen was more than enough for two grandmothers and two daughter in-laws to get along.

  This spacious but cozy house was ideal for our mini family reunion. The children absolutely loved the 4 sturdy bunk beds in what they dubbed their Bunk Room and the teenagers camped out in the lower apt. w/ TV. The adults were more than happy in their 3 comfortable bedrooms - especially the lucky couple who drew the top floor master king BR and its spa-like adjoining master bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub. We all eventually congregate on the main floor - the large fireplace naturally draws everyone into the cavernous living room lounging in oversized sofas and loveseats. A pool table and foos ball table as well as a flat screen tv provided plenty of entertainment for everyone. Outside the living room is a beautiful deck with a huge hot tub and industrial grade barbeque grill. From the deck and inside the living room, the views of the mountains are breathtaking. Our favorite feature of this house though, is the dining area with enormous dining table for 20 - our 14-month old presided at the head of the table. The open kitchen makes dinner time easy to manage as there is plenty of room for all the chefs and kitchen helpers to scurry around. We'll be baahck!
