Beautifully furnished single family home located one mile out the ridge from Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and within the gates of Wolf Laurel Country Club that has it all!! At an elevation of 4700 ft, this home guarantees incredible long range views with mild summer days, cool summer nights, and breathtaking sunsets. Easy year round access on paved road with two steps into main level of home. We are 2011 Amenities Members which give you access to the heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and playground.
Main level offers the master bedroom and master bathroom, Jacuzzi tub, sun room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and living room. The Master bedroom has a King Bed with a Sealy Posterpedic Pillow top Mattress, luxury bedding with high thread count sheets, and a 32" Flat Panel HD TV and DVD Player. Living room has cathedral ceilings with magnificent two-story rock fireplace, a cozy comfy couch and loveseat and a 37" Flat Screen HD TV and DVD Player. Kitchen offers European-style cabinets, ceramic tile, garbage disposal, trash compactor, and dishwasher. Kitchen is well equipped with Emeril Pots and Pans, a Blender, Mixer, Crock Pot and plenty of Baking Dishes for the cook of the family.
The Upper Level offers two bedrooms with shared bath and a loft that functions as an office. Both bedrooms are furnished with Queen beds and Sealy Posterpedic Pillow top Mattresses, Luxury Bedding with high thread count sheets, Flat Panel TV's and DVD Players.
Lower level is a perfect place for family fun and youth entertainment which offers a large bedroom and bath, family room with foosball table, ping pong table, air hockey table, 2 Player ESPN Basketball Hoops Game, Recumbent Exercise Bicycle and Sole E35 Elliptical. There is a 42" Flat Panel HD TV and DVD Player along with a DVD Library, Sony Playstation 2 with Games. Family Room Couch is also a Queen Sleeper/Sofa. Downstairs bedroom offers Queen bed with a Sealy Posterpedic Pillow top Mattress along with a TV and DVD Player. Board Games, jigsaw puzzles, and books are also available for your use. In the winter months, snow sleds are provided for your enjoyment.
Property is conveniently located off of I-26 between Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN. Home is located near Hole #3 at Wolf Laurel Country Club. Nearby amenities include snow skiing, golf, horseback riding, and hiking (Appalachian Trail is close by). 30 Minutes from whitewater rafting and fly-fishing. 40 Minutes to the world famous Biltmore House and Garden and 45 minutes from Johnson City, TN and the Bristol Motor Speedway. Our hiking group of 8 found this mountaintop home most enjoyable! It is close to amenities and shopping yet secluded enough for privacy. Sunsets are spectacular as are thunderstorms when views from within! We found descriptions of house very accurate and helpful; everything was exceptionally clean and in good working order. The owner was most attentive to any problem that came to our attention and was very polite and gracious. I would recommend rental of this property and may consider having our family vacation at this location at a future date.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Our family was delighted with this immaculate home in Wolf Ridge. We arrived in the midts of tough winter weather for some skiing and relaxation. The boys quickly staked out the lower level with its games and ping pong table. The views from the home were stunning and made for a beautiful backdrop to hearty breakfasts and evening reading.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

We spent two months this summer in this beautiful home. It was so comfortable and well appointed that we are returning in 2011 for THREE months! The view is outstanding, the home very accessible...and it has everything to make a visitor comfortable --- well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, cable TVs everywhere, internet access and great sunsets. It must be just wonderful in ski season with the snow falling and the logs burning in the fireplace.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We came to the mountains to find some wintry weather, and this was an ideal home to experience it in. One of the higher elevation homes in Wolf Laurel provided beautiful views in very comfortable surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms very cozy, the game rooms a real plus - everything about our stay was pleasant (including the snow!) We had a delightful time.

We stayed five nights in this wonderful property with our 3 children who thoroughly enjoyed the gameroom. This property was extremely confortable and was very thoughtfully stocked for most every need. The owners were so pleasant and easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

Best vacation spot ever! Spectacular views, super spacious, comfortable beds and furniture, clean, gated community, and the owners were so easy to work with. We rented the house for Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was fully stocked so it was a pleasure to cook. Plenty to do in the house for hours of family fun (ping-pong, foosball, air hockey, board games, video games, and a tv in every room). Also, lots to do outside the house (nature walks, one mile away from the ski slope, and for those golfers, it's a block away from the golf course.) It was a dream vacation for my family who just wanted to get away. Found NOTHING negative, only positives. We are planning to go again and again!
