Our Moorings condo returns to the rental market newly remodeled and with an updated floor plan perfect for a much needed vacation!
Featuring three bedrooms and three full baths, the entire condo has been upgraded. The spacious new kitchen features granite counter tops and tile flooring. It is well equipped for any chef with full size oven, range, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and large refrigerator with ice maker. The kitchen includes a cozy breakfast nook with bistro table perfect for two as well as an additional bar area with seating for six! The kitchen is completely open to a large and comfortable new living area that includes plenty of seating, new tile floors and a 32’ Flat Screen TV. Our Condo has an ocean view that can be enjoyed from the living area, master bedroom and two large decks with wonderful ocean breezes.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, cable, new flat screen television, telephone and plenty of drawer space. It has a new master bath with double vanities, ceramic floors and a newly tiled bathtub. Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the ocean view and the most amazing sunset!
This unique floor-plan designed for beach living includes two additional guest bedrooms with full baths. The first guest bedroom includes a queen bed, cable, new flat screen television and a private bath. The second guest bedroom also includes a queen bed, cable, new flat screen television and a private balcony with ocean views. It too has a bathroom featuring a deluxe, stand-up shower that is accessed from the bedroom or the common area.
Our condo is located in Palmetto Dunes, an award winning and private-gated community central to everything on the island. Our condo is a second level unit with an ocean VIEW! It is just steps away from the Dunes House ( about 50 yards) with access to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Also just a short stroll from our condo is a private, pool, private to the Moorings community, for you to enjoy a refreshing swim.
Located in the resort itself you have three championship golf courses, a tennis center, and a rental center to rent bikes or canoes to enjoy the miles of paths and lagoons throughout the plantation! Be sure to check out Alexander’s restaurant also in Palmetto Dunes which is considered by some to be one of the best on the island!
Linens are provided for a maximum of six guests and the condo has a washer and dryer. We hope you will choose to enjoy your vacation at our condo and enjoy it as much as our family does!

Like any type of activity involving the water. I have been coming to Hilton Head Island since I was little and it has become my favorite place to return every year. I love trying new places to eat (check out Wise Guys, Black Marlin Bayside Grill and Skull Creek Boathouse) and just enjoy life to it's fullest!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The location of our condo is simply unique. First it is located in the award winning Palmetto Dunes Resort. There is so much to do with out even having to leave the resort area. There are three award winning championship golf courses, along with a tennis center, miles of walking trails and lagoons. Our condo has recently undergone a full remodel of the entire inside. There are sweeping views of the Atlantic ocean from our condo and you are within about 100 yards from the Dunes House to access the beach!

We just got back from a wonderful week-long vacation in HHI, and we could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. This condo is by far the best- for location and for comfort, it can't be beat! It is spacious, updated, very nice floor plan, and each bedroom has a private bath-very nice! The view of the ocean is lovely and it is just a quick walk to the beach or the pool. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone. We will be back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We just returned from a week at The Moorings and had a wonderful vacation.....location is excellent for a quick walk to the beach. Condo has everything you could need and the layout is great for three couples offering each their own private space. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked and we found the beds to be very comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice with tile floors and showers. Couldn't have asked for more plus owner is wonderful to work with.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Excellent location to the beach and the pool. You can easily walk back and forth to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Overall the condo was nice, the kitchen and the bathrooms have been upgraded. The mattresses in the bedrooms had some issues. In the master bedroom the mattress or box springs (we couldn't tell which it was) is slanted and the bed slopes down. Plus the sheets were extremely uncomfortable and had to readjust every night b/c they would not stay on the bed. The 2nd bedroom with the other deck the mattress is slated as well. What is a vacation without a good nights sleep and naps after a day at the beach. Makes it very uncomfortable to sleep and for naps. We weren't insude during the day but at night when we wanted to watch a movie the couches were extremely uncomfortable and we ended up sitting on the floor. The decks were great but two of the chairs are broken and just sitting there taking up space on the deck.
Owner response:Beth, I am sorry you had a problem with the two beds. The sheets are provided by our cleaning company and I am in the process of addressing your concern with them now. As regards to the beds slating I am not sure as I had just replaced the mattress/boxspring units prior to last years rental season. I will check them as soon as I get down there in August with a level and make sure this is also taken of. I was not aware of any broken deck chairs as this must have occured since the last time we were down there, but will remove and replace them in August. Thank you for your feedback. Rob

The condo was the perfect location- on the beach and next to the pool. Also walking distance to Dunes House and Marriot Poolside Restaurant and Bar. We definately recommend this condo and will stay there again!

The condo is absolutely wonderful and HHI is such a nice place to get away! The renovations you guys completed and the updated floor plan to a 3BR / 3Bath was top-notch and really fit our group well. We got really great use from the kitchen and to be honest…it actually has more prep area than our personal one at home! We can’t wait to come back down. Thanks so much for all your helpful hints and the restaurants you suggested were just out of this world! Hope to visit again real soon!The Holley’s

We stayed in this lovely condo last summer and could not believe how beautiful it was compared to some of the other condos that rent for more. Every inch of this place was freshly updated and looked like HGTV had been there. It also had the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in away from home! Enjoyed it so much and did not want to leave!
