Four minutes from the Champs-Elysées this lovely apartment is on the 15th floor of a 19-storey residence in the Paris-La Défense-Courbevoie, a four flowers quality label district. Very nice surrounding of gardens, fountain, flowers and trees.
The nearby best Metro line #1, station "La Defense-Grande Arche" gives easy and fast access to all of Paris as well as the train to gare Saint-Lazare heading in 8 minutes to the heart of Paris, Opera, Grands Magasins...
The charming bedroom has a queen size bed, a chest of drawers, two bedside tables with two bedside lamps and a very large mirror.
A cot can be provided.
The sun-filled dining room has a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two, a table to seat four comfortably, a wall of mirrors reflecting the image of all Paris, a desk, a wardrobe, a TV with English channels, a CD and DVD player, CDs & DVD library, English books, English guide books of Paris, internet access, WiFi, phone with national and international calls free, connection for iPod, iPhone or iPad.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a microwave, a four rings hotplate, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a large refrigerator/freezer, caffee machine, toaster, one kettle and plenty utensils.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a shower, double sinks, toilet and plenty of storage room and mirrors.
The apartment was fully refurbished and lately redecorated.
The marble lobby has exposed wooden ceilings and large picture windows.
Two elevators go to the apartment.
Two concierges (24hours) and an access code ensure good security.
The Charras mall on the ground floor provides a supermarket, gastronomic restaurants, cafés, and a host of shops.
Also on the ground floor of the building is an international newsstand, a boulangerie for fresh croissants and baguette in the morning.
On our ground floor is the olympic size municipal swimming pool, featuring a sauna, solarium, volley ball, ice rink and bowling facilities.
The gardens offer games, tennis tables, carrousel for children.
The apartment's is in a very quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city yet at minutes from Porte Maillot, Palais Royal, the Louvre, Concorde, Bastille and the Galleries Lafayette stores.
Our neighborhood offers a 16-screen cinema, theatres, cultural venues, restaurants, bars, outdoor markets.
Paris-La Défense-Courbevoie is at the western end of Paris' Historical Axis, which starts at the Louvre museum and takes in the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
La Defense is unique, a major touristic destination! The site of all superlatives! A must-see site in Greater Paris today. Europe's biggest business district, Europe's biggest shopping center opened seven days a week. The most famous landmark in La Défense is La Grande Arche, a monument dedicated to humanity and humanitarian ideals which was inaugurated in 1989. The roof section is an exhibition centre, and offers impressive views of Paris.
The district has over 60 hectares of parkland, gardens, squares, shaded plazas, and terraces. Nearby the renovated CNIT, the National Industries and Technology Centre with a spectacular roof. We bought this apartment for its remarkable view onto Paris days and nights and for its sun rises up. The atmosphere is serene, no street nearby, but a large forum surrounds our building and many grdens. The district is touristic, lively and international. We have excellent, easy and fast public transportation service to central Paris.

There is a mall on the ground floor of the building with a supermarket, many shops, cafes, restaurants and sport facilities with a swimming pool, sauna, ice rink. Nearby are two theaters, a 16 screen cinema and so much more.

I was traveling to Paris for the first time in Seotember 2011. Quite an adventure. I knew that I wanted to have a home-like environment during my stay. The apartment at Les Gemeaux in La Defense was just that. Charming, beautiful, clean and comfortable, with the most amazing 15th floor views of Paris---the Eiffel Tower, sparkling at night, the enchanting hills and Sacre Coeur cathedral of Montmartre etched on the distant horizon. I felt completely safe while staying at Les Gemeaux! The owners were helpful and friendly. The metro was just a short walk from the apartment and there were many shops, cafes and a supermarket next door to the apartment. It was very hard to leave the beauty of Paris and the delight of the apartment at Les Gemeaux. I would go back and stay forever in a heart beat! Bon voyage! You have made the perfect choice of accomodations in Paris.

I was originally very apprehensive when I read the apartment review as they sounded "Too good to be true" Now having experienced Jacqueline's hospitality and the beautiful apartment, I can vouch with confidence that all of it is true! I stayed at the apartment with my parents. The views from the apartment are still ingrained in our memory. We were able to experience Eiffel tower lighting and its beauty from the apartment, couple of nearby building also had incredible light shows. I was meeting my family after almost a year. The apartment was just the perfect place for our first time in Paris. Fully - equipped and clean. The sofa couch was very comfortable. The bus stop to the metro/RER is right just outside the apartment complex. Grocery store and public parking is in the basement of the apartment. Clean and functional and beautiful apartment and a very prompt and helpful host…what more can you ask for. Jacqueline also provides with area maps, train maps and Rick Steve's Paris guide book etc...Which helped head start on our sightseeing planning. I would strongly recommend this apartment and definitely go back! It was worth the money!

The apartment is divine! We enjoyed Paris immensely; were so lucky to enjoy Courbevoie! This delightful apartment was exactly as the photos in the listing showed, and the owner was helpful and pleasant. We could not have asked for more. The apartment was immaculate and had all amenities required in excellent, like new, condition. The bed was most comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Shopping was close by and reasonably priced. We recommend that public transit be used. - right out front - or cabs, which are also most reasonable. The area of Courbevoie is a pleasant area and is well situated for travel into Paris, or other parts of the countryside. There are many things to keep adults and children busy. And of course, the view from the windows of this wonderful apartment on the 15th floor is truly a joy! Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur and the Arc De Triomphe, all visible. Our stay in Paris was wonderfully enhanced by this very comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment that is so conveniently located. The view was magnificent; we looked forward to it at the end of every day of sightseeing and the sunrises were just as beautiful. We were so happy to find that the apartment was exactly as described (actually it's even more roomy than the photos suggest). The shopping mall underneath was so convenient and the restaurants were also great (particularly Le Rastignac). The food markets twice a week across the way were fabulous and allowed us to shop and cook "like real French people". La Defense is a beautifully quiet location at night which meant we all slept very well; but La Defense is also a spectacular place to visit. I have never seen such exciting architecture. This was a very pleasant surprise! I will happily recommend this apartment to friends and family. Jacqueline, you are a warm and welcoming host and we hope to be your guests again soon. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful apartment. Our first night was wonderful as we watched the magie of the night lights of Paris. The view was spectacular, the bedroom was a peaceful place to relax and reflect on our daily excursions of the city. This is a dream paradise, a place to make wonderful memories.

Great base to explore Paris and even with its own "private" markets downstairs. We liked the fold out coach, very comfortable. We will be happy to stay here any time we are back in Paris.

Beautiful apartment. The view is stunning and we had very beautiful photos of the Paris skyline with the great Eiffel tower in the mix. The sofa bed is very comfortable and the apartment is very spacious for my family of four. We will definitely use your apartment again and recommend it to friends and families.

As we sat this evening discussing our favorite Paris moments, each of us mentioned this apartment as one of our highlights: Each day after sightseeing we felt like we were coming "home", but not to just any home- this "home" has all the comforts, lots of extras like WiFi + long distance included and of course - a most amazing view that makes you feel like you can review each days' adventures again -just by looking out the window! We enjoyed the history of Paris and the modern flaire of La Défense.

Wonderful, a perfect choice for our stay in Paris, the apartment was excellent, quiet, well located, close to the metro, and that view...I enjoyed one morning surise over Paris from the windows...The apartment is well laid out, well equipped and soon became our home away from home! Lovely, and really added to our visit, and our enjoyment of Paris!
