A wonderful house that had everything we needed. The owner was very friendly and checked on our time at the house. We filled every room with our large family from 7 states! The recreational room was awesome for playing ping pon and watching movies. The leather couches were very cumfy. The beach was fantastic with it's soft white sand. Our family enjoyed time together under our large tailgate tents. Our weather was perfect all week, enjoying early morning walks on the beach and sunset moments! We shared gourmet dinners made by each family unit and spent nights relaxing in the hot tub-a wonderful evenings end to our perfect day! Really recommend this house for a family retreat.

Sandy Beach

We rented this beach house for a weekend and had a great time, easy to find, plenty of room for large groups. Owner was very nice and easy to work with, answered e-mails asap. So much to do indoors and out. Fully stocked large kitchen. Great place to have fun. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

Family beach fun

House was exactly as advertised. The location was great, beach was awesome. Party room was a lot of fun, elevator came in handy after trips to the grocery store. Owner was available and called us a few times to be sure we didn't need anything. Really enjoyed watching sunrises over the ocean from the front deck, and then all of us getting together on the same deck in the evenings when it was shaded from the sun.

Sandy Beach-New Years Eve fun HOUSE

We just wanted to say that our New year's beach experience at this house was fantastic. The house was described exactly as we found it and that made a big difference as our group was diverse. We had couples, singles and even a couple kids that came for a night or two and there was plenty of room. The house is adaptable and ready to go. I have rented several homes from VRBO and agencies and this home was the BEST stocked home yet. There was soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap and enough paper towels and toilet paper to get started on our week. This saved us time and allowed us to enjoy the beach. The property was clean. The owner was fantastic to work with. I must have sent him 20 emails initially and he took the time to respond to each and every one of them. The photos were pretty good in showing most of the house, they even had a VIDEO made to reflect the house layout. The one complaint that I had was that there were not very good pictures of the bedrooms themselves and the owner agreed and has probably already fixed that on this site. I would recommend this property to my family or friends in a moment. The house is not brand new or extremely fancy which allowed us to relax and concentrate on having a great time rather than worrying about sitting on a brand new coach with a drink. For our group this was crucial as we spent most of our time on the beach, the owners had a large container of water right at the foot of the steps to rinse your feet in, so as to not track sand in the house. We spent hours in the game room at night watching College Football bowl games and having ping pong tournaments. The other GREAT thing about this house was the hot tub outside. Every morning I would sit in the tub and listen to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach and at night the stars above made for a wonderful experience. The house did not have the tub when I initially inquired about renting the place and I told the owner we really wanted a house for NYE with a tub. The weather this time of year being cold and all, he understood that request and he decided to install the tub before our stay. Talk about customer service! I was so impressed by his willingness to help make our trip great. In conclusion, this house was the PERFECT house for our trip and I am sure if you have a large group and want a private, clean, fun, well stocked and very close to the best beach in the area, then Sandy Beach is the house for YOU.

Beautiful Home!!! Has everything you need...What was great is the unfortunately it rained on us for a day BUT that was NO problem with the large second floor den and playroom the kids were entertained the whole time. They were able to play their video games on the TV in the playroom and the adults could have some unwinding time upstairs. Will be diffidently be coming back! Thanks Mr. Barbour

Loved the beach house, we all had a great time. With the number of family members staying at the home, it seemed we had to try hard to keep the noise level down. Not sure if elderly neighbours or if 10:30 was too late to hang around the pool, but fun nonetheless. Wonderful property and great set-up. Nervous about people next door being distracted by a group of people during the summer months.
