Mountain Meadows Cabin is a 10,000 sq. foot home nestled in the Rocky mountains of Montana with exquisite views of Lone Mountain and Big Sky Ski Area as well as the Spanish Peaks. This secluded home is in a gated community on 40 acres of land on a hill top at 7200 feet elevation.

This is a secluded mountain lodge that time seems to have forgotten. Come watch the wildlife as the Elk herds migrate and the Moose graze. Deer wander by without fear and Bears peek out from behind the trees with curiosity. The lodge atmosphere offers spacious main rooms to enjoy the company of large groups while preserving the solitude of your own private space. Each of the seven rooms have their own bathroom, sitting area, tv, and armoire. The great room and dining rooms have vaulted ceilings and extra large windows. There is plenty of room to have family time, reunions, business meetings, or a get togehter with a group of friends. Cook in the commercial kitchen or hire a caterer to create for you. Sit by the fire, in the hammock or on the patio and breath the fresh air and quiet of nature. Look at the stars covering the Montana sky. Let your mind and body relax as you take in all that Montana has to offer.

Although there is plenty to do in the cabin or on the property the outside will call you.
Whether to ski, fly fish, raft, go out to eat, see a rodeo, hike, explore Yellowstone National Park or whatever activity you desire, you will be happy to be close to where you are staying at the Mountain Meadows Cabin in Big Sky Montana.

Our vacation time at this breathtaking lodge was second to none. The enormous, beautifully decorated, well maintained home with incredible views and scenery provided our family and friends the perfect environment to get reacquainted with each other. Peaceful nights and days full of outdoor activity created the perfect balance for our outing. As I tell others about this lodge and our time there, I refer to it as "the trip of a lifetime" - which it was! Take advantage of this "once in a lifetime opportunity", you'll be glad you did!

Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This hill top vacation home with a 360 degree breath taking view of the granduer of the high country in Montana is just the place to relax and enjoy a very special place. The accomodations are 5 star and simply the best with all the amenities and the utmost privacy. Deer and elk are on the property as well as other wild life. Just a few miles away are some of the finest fly fishing rivers in the USA. And just 60 miles away is the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. Myself and six friends had the pleasure of staying there in July of 2010 as we bicycled from Big Sky to Jackson Hole Wyoming for an incredible adventure. There are so many things to do in the Big Sky area. Things such as river rafting, hiking, fishing and just enjoying the moment. If you have never been to Montana, you are in for a special treat as the people and the surrounding towns are something to behold. I highly recommend this home for an adventure you will remember for a life time.

Over the years, my wife Lind and I have been blessed with the ability to travel throughout the US. To be sure Mountain Meadows is the most majestic place to date. It is simply a breath taking view of Montana that defines Big Sky. The down home country accomodations were spacious, clean and every room has that spectacular view that makes Montana a must see detination. The lounging quarters are both spacious and relaxing where views of foothill vistas are graced by the occasional passing wildlife. The bar is well stocked and the Kitchen is to die for. I especially enjoyed the front deck at sunset. It is far enough from town to give you that rare feeling of freedom, but close enough to satisfy any midnight craving., You are flanked by the Big Sky ski resorts on one side and Yellowstone on the other where blue ribbons of freshwater steams wind through the meadows and beackon fisherman from all over the US. On our off days we enjoyed the wonderful hiking trails with their spectacular waterfalls. Mountain Meadows is a wonderful place to spend time in this Breathless Paradise.

Perfectly situated for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor adventures, this property offers privacy and luxury in a rustic setting. When staying at the Lodge, you will experience beauty and comfort at every turn. The Great Room is just that, with high ceilings and a huge stone fireplace. Enormous picture windows afford sweeping views of spectacular vistas. For fun, you can enjoy the pool table, get in a game of foosball, or belly up to the Thirsty Moose Bar. The kitchen is well equipped and user friendly, so preparing meals for a big group is easy as pie. The spacious dining area is perfect for mealtimes with family and friends, and can even accommodate a formal wedding reception. Every room has a beautiful view. Our bedroom had its own private balcony. We loved the big, comfy furniture and the Southwestern décor. The bathroom was state-of-the-art, which we really appreciated after a long day’s hike! Laundry facilities also came in handy. For even further pampering and relaxation, stretch out in a hammock or enjoy a deep soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi. We began each morning on the veranda, enjoying coffee and croissants amidst the peaceful surroundings. At the end of the day we relaxed in front of the fire, sipping brandy to take away the chill. For one glorious week, the Lodge was truly the mountain home of our dreams.
