  We are still basking in the wonderful AFTER GLOW of our wonderful vacation at our new "Home away from Home". Our condo was just perfect for us as we enjoyed the ease of going to the beach and playing golf. With the convenience of the grocery store so close by and wonderful boutiques, some even wiithin walking distance. I would say this Unit was above all expectations. We are already making plans for next year! Thank you again!

  I would recommend this property and escpecially this unit to anyone who wants a very reasonably priced, extremely well maintained condo at the beach! It's so cozy and clean with great access to the beach and everything you need for a comfortable stay; we loved it and can't wait to go back! The owner is awesome and always available. It was great for just the two of us but could accomodate 4 pretty comfortably as well. We had a great time, Cathy; thanks so much - we'll be back!

  You cannot beat this location and I have researched online and on location extensively. The best part of Gulfview is that the beach is just a close walk away. Even if you have to return to the condo multiple times in the same morning (don’t ask) it is not a problem. The amazing part of this stretch of beach is that it is so un-crowded. It is away from the high rises and public beach access. We stayed at Sandestin Resort and there were 3-4 rows of chairs and umbrellas, making finding a spot near the water impossible. We even paid for chairs and still couldn’t even see the waves hit the sand. For the next few years we stayed at Gulfview and love it. This location is close enough to easily get to everything (between Harborwalk Village and Sandestin’s Baytowne Wharf), but is in a quiet area away from it all; the best of both worlds. What is excellent about this particular unit within the Gulfview complex, is that it has the only kitchen remodel with an island that I have seen. Especially if you have more than one person in the kitchen (and considering that the door to the bathroom is in the middle of the kitchen this is inevitable) the change from an L shaped counter top to an island was revolutionary on its own, but when combined with the addition of a floor-to-ceiling pantry to place groceries in and a desk - WOW! What a difference that made. The bar at the end of the island made it so that you could really use the barstools for dining, unlike the other units. There is no table, but the desk and bar were ample for our needs. The unit was clean and the owners were friendly and replied to questions personally. So much nicer than using a rental company! The bed was very firm, which my husband found uncomfortable, but he has back issues and is pretty picky about his bed. It was nice that the unit had 2 chairs and an umbrella provided. They were older and the umbrella kept collapsing, but it was still nice to have them. They also provided sand toys and pool toys (noodles) for the kids. Very nice! We did miss the better view of our old unit on the East side of the building, but the remodeled interior made up for it as the view wasn’t that amazing – you couldn’t see where the waves hit the sand, just the blue of the ocean in the distance beyond the parking lot. Besides frankly, a beach view like that just isn’t available in this price-range. I have looked and looked. ;) The research points to this unit as the best place for the price.

I had another one and took it to the condo after I found out about it. I am looking for chairs to replace for next season.   Great location, wonderful facilities, beautifully decorated,close to beaches, restaurants. Owners great about working with me on changing dates due to weather issues. Absolutely loved the area the condo was located. Will definitely go back as often as possible.

  Unit 229 is ABSOLUTELY the BEST!! Everything is updated and SPOTLESS! The kitchen is FANTASTIC! Kathy and Steve are WONDERFUL to work with and do EVERYTHING possible to make your stay at Gulfview the BEST VACATION ever! They take pride in ownership!

  We have stayed at Gulfview for the last 10 years, at least twice a year. Our family was having a reunion of sorts, and we rented 4 condos. This condo was the most modern and user friendly by far that I have ever experienced! We do not eat out alot, we cook at home . This condo was well equiped and even had a pantry! greatly needed! We always have all of our groceries all over the counter in other places. You can tellk the owners have spared no expense to make their guests comfortable! This would be my 1st choice always! This place was spotless, no signs of previous guests. I didnt feel as if I had to disinfect before feeling comfortable. In a nutshell =Perfect!

  I would like to thank Cathy for a wonderful condo.we arrived sat morning and the owners clean it themselves so it's done right.This place is very kid friendly,with a family atmosphere.the condo was like new and made us feel right at home.I will def stay here again on my next trip back to destin,as we come to Florida a few times a year.

  My husband and I had a FABULOUS time at your condo last week. It was truly one of the most relaxing vacations we have been on in a long time. We have stayed at several other units in Gulfview over the years and yours, by far is our favorite. We felt so at home and even stayed in a couple nights and cooked in your lovely kitchen. It really felt like it was ours! We will definitely be return guests in the future. Thanks so much for the perfect "home" and reasonable rates that made it possible for us to stay an entire week.
