Great Winter Get-Away

We stayed at this home in February of 2011 and found it to be everything it was advertised to be. It was very clean, very scenic, and comfortable to stay in. Another couple joined us for a weekend and the home did not feel cramped or crowded. We took many day trips to various cities and events in the area. This location was a comfortable distance from both the Phoenix and the Tucson area. There were plenty of good restaurants close by in Florence and Casa Grande. We used the Union Center almost daily for weight lifting, swimming, and exercise classes. This was the first time we stayed in a retirement community and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner and the local handler were both very friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this home to all our friends and family.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+.

Great resort area...wonderful amenities for the retired and not so retired folks. Saskatchewan couple who wanted to see what winter was like without snow....MAGNIFICENT !!! Home is very cozy and well decorated with all the amenities ...we were pleased with the accomodations and all pictures are accurate descriptions of the brand new home. We relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful resort and its facilities. Safeway is almost next door and small restaurants served excellent meals. We loved our stay and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. There were no dissappoinments on this vacation. We eventually plan on buying into this resort area. It has been well planned and exhibits a high quality neighborhood. Thanks

Fabulous area..great for seniors and retired people. Friendly and very hospitable. Merrill Ranch is a wonderful place to live. The Home was great...all the amenities that were specified and very comfotable. The beds were magnificent ...slept like a lamb. This home is in a very presitgous area and has great neighbors. Loved our stay here....lots to do at the famous Union Center. Will return soon. Duane

Just loved the area, all the amenities and the programs that were offered by the Union Center. The area is brand new , but still has that home like feeling. Very friendly community and everyone was very helpful when we first arrived. The home was perfect , cozy and comfortable with the best sleeping beds that I have experienced. Wonderful home and well furnished..back yard fire pit was excellent. I will return again as this is the perfect area for retiring from "Old man Winter" !!
