Whether you choose to sit back and enjoy the sun and surf, watch for turtles, fish, play miniature golf, dine out at one of the many restaurants or go shopping, Ocean Isle has something for everyone. The beach is wide and flat. It's perfect for kids to run in the waves, build sand castles or have an Italian ice from the ice cream cart. Our family started a countdown months before taking this vacation. For years and years our family has gone to Myrtle Beach but decided to try something a little different this year. We researched and located this home large enough to accomodate our family. We had such a wonderful time here. The grandkids loved the pool, the adults loved the porch and rocking chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed ... which was very helpful because we ate most meals here. We have already started discussing what week we would like to come back next year. A perfect week. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the entire time allowing for sunset walks on the beach, cocktails and early morning coffee on the porch. All that with no work and fabulous good throughout. Thanks so much for the use of your home. The kitchen was great -- hands down the best stocked house we've been to at the beach. We had a great time staying here at 109E 1st Street. The house is beautiful and the location is good too. Your accomodations were comfortable and we loved the pool! Thanks so much for sharing your home with our family. We had 4 generations from 1 - 84 years with us. We loved the short walk to the beach and the pool was very refreshing in the afternoons. Words alone could not express our thanks for letting us be here. Our boys were on a 4 day pass before going to Afghanistan for a year. Our days were very nice - walking the beach and just having a place to feel at home it. The kitchen is great. I was able to give the boy things they knew they wouldn't be able to eat for a year. Our group of 8 golfers rented this beautiful home in November. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pot & pans, etc for cooking at home. It was wonderful that each bedroom had their own bath. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their home. We would definitely rent this home again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house worked out great for my family. The kids loved the private pool in the backyard and the adults loved sitting on the front porch each morning drinking our coffee together. Having computer internet access was a real plus. We had everything we needed plus more. A great rental experience. We give it an A.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This cottage was perfect for our group of 15. Everyone liked the layout of the cottage with it's 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. It has a well stocked kitchen for a large group, plenty of dishes and lots of pots and pans. You have the best of 2 worlds, steps away from a beach assess and a pool to enjoy when you don't want to go to the beach. The owners were very prompt answering any and all questions. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.Recommended for: Girls getaway.
