The House is located on 5 acres of Oak Tree and Manzanita studded land with only natures creations to surround you. Ten minutes south of Mariposa on Hwy. 49 South. Whether you are staying with us a weekend or a week, we have set it up for your comfort and enjoyment. Great location for day trips in all directions or maybe lodging for visiting family members for the holidays. Holiday meals can be arranged if you like. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals if you wish. If you prefer there are a variety of really good restaurants in Mariposa, only 10 minutes from the house. This is a 1700sq.ft. house.
We have a little neighborhood cafe, gas station and mini mart less than a half mile away. We also have a county park in the neighborhood with picnic tables and lots of room to run and play.
Starting from this location it takes about an hour into Yosemite Valley, less than a half hour to get to the scenic Merced River or beautiful Bass Lake. If you have a case of gambling fever, we are only 45 minutes from Chukchansi Casino which has several dining choices and adult fun. The options are many for the adventurous.
There is a small airport in Mariposa for private planes and also has a car rental office on site. Our main office is located in the town of Mariposa and we can help you with ideas and directions to make this a vacation to remember.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Waking to the sound of birds and the smell of fresh air is good for the soul! On our secluded property you can relax in the gazebo and watch the day go by or beside the wood stove snuggled up with a good book, you can't help but re-charge from city life. There is wild life all around, all you have to do is look! The stars are magnificent away from the city lights. Free entertainment supplied by mother nature!

We sincerely enjoyed stay in this beautiful house. It looks better than in photos. This is great place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite park. I'd recommend this place to any friend or relative.

The house was updated and felt brand new. New carpet, hardwood floors, great fixtures, and western decor. I appreciated everything. The beds were comfortable (well I slept in the master and it was great). All the rooms had sitting chairs and ceilings fans. It was ranch style which was great because we didn't have to climb stairs after our uphill hike to Vernal and Nevada Fall. We loved the AC as well. We will definitely use this house again for our trips to yosemite. The price was great, and we got a better deal staying here than a hotel. Also, Eve made the whole booking process easy and she was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

About an hour from Yosemite but a beautiful drive. Very clean, the photos are a true reflection of the home interior. I would stay again if in this area. Very quiet neighborhood, we watched the hummingbirds on the front porch every morning! Oakhurst is about 20 miles if you want a larger selection of stores but all basics can be found in Mariposa. We enjoyed the quaint town of Mariposa and the shops it had to offer.I would recommend the home to anyone visiting the area.
