What an awesome experience! We expected to find a beautiful home to stay in based on what we saw on the website, but when we arrived it was even better than we had expected. The owner was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The gated community is very nice and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. Thanks for sharing your luxurious home with us!
Owner response:Thank you for your wonderful review. It was such a pleasure to meet you. Congrats on buying a home and the job... all coming together during your stay. God is good and may you continue to be blessed. Just think, on Saturday its supposed to be 117 to 119. Remember, it's a "dry heat". :-P

We stayed in Jay and Tina's unit for the month of April. It was very nice and tidy. Close to all the shopping and our golf course and friends. We missed having a BBQ and I needed have a heated pool . Those were the draw backs. It is a condo in a working community. We enjoyed our stay there. Coming to Arizona in April is very nice as it is cold in Canada. Thanks for making us feel welcome. The owner was very helpful in getting us settled. We enjoyed having the wireless and the printer. There are a number of stairs that do not lend to people with disabilities. Thanks again.
Owner response:Thank you for your review. You bring up a good point and I do let people know that the unit is an upstairs unit. There are about 14 steps. I hope people will realize their limitations as we really want people to enjoy themselves without any struggles do to their disabilities.

Mesa Condo #269218 Guest: Barry & Jean (Northwest Illinois) Date of Stay: December 30, 2010 Review Submitted: March 6, 2011 We spent part of the winter of 2010/11 in sunny Arizona as we have for the past 10 years. This year we rented a condo in the Tesoro gated community in Mesa. The experience was wonderful. The unit is as clean and nice as the pictures portray and Jay and Tina (owners) make you feel right at home and as if you have known them for years. A beautiful condo in a very nice setting. Looking forward to spending time there again soon. Our thanks Jay and Tina. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Romantic getaway

My husband and I left Boston for Arizona to be with our daughter for Christmas, who attends ASU. It had been 7 months since we had last seen her. I could not have chosen a better place to spend Christmas and I certainly couldn't have met a better person than Jay Samuel to rent our "holiday" house from. Jay is the real thing. In a nutshell, he cares and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in every way. He knew how special this vacation was to us and did everything in his power to make it even more special. I couldn't agree more with the comments left by the "Thanksgiving" family. I had all I needed to make a special Christmas Eve dinner and to make Christmas come alive far from home. Even with flying back into Boston in the middle of the 2010 blizzard, this will be a Christmas we will never forget and we wouldn't dream of renting from anyone other than Jay Samuel for our future visits to Arizona!

My family stayed at the Samuel's townhouse over the Thanksgiving Day holiday. My relatives are all in the East Valley, so the location of the property was perfect for us. It was close to my family and close to two really great shopping/dining areas, Dana Park and San Tan Mall. It was also near Joe's Farmhouse, a new favorite breakfast spot of mine. The location of the property right off of US 60 also made it easy to reach Downtown Scottsdale and the Phoenix Camelback area. When we arrived, Jay Samuel met us at the property, directed us to the unit, helped with our luggage and taught us how to work the alarm system. The townhouse was very nicely furnished, with quality touches, such as flat panel TVs in the family room and master bedroom, and beautiful framed photographs of desert scenery throughout the house. The unit also had wireless internet, a must have for online Thanksgiving Day shopping. I have stayed at five other VRBO properties and this one was by far the most fully equipped with quality items. The kitchen had everything that I needed to prepare a Thanksgiving Day turkey and stuffing. The laundry room had detergent, brooms, mops, and other cleaning supplies (very useful for us since we have a 2 year old and 4 month old). There were extra towels, blankets and pillows, all nice quality. The unit also had night lights throughout making it easy to check on our girls at night. It was these and many other small touches that by themselves weren't much but really added up to make the townhouse feel like home. Overall, we really enjoyed out stay. The Samuel's went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated, including bringing over Disney movies for my 2 year old daughter. If we are in need of place again in the future, we definitely would stay with the Samuels.
Owner response:Thank you Pam and family for your kind words. It was a pleasure to be of assistance. Your children are precious and we'll have the bed rails ready for your next visit. Your family was delightful. Jay

After looking at several places to stay in the Mesa area I am so glad I choose this one. Not only was it very clean and immaculate, it has everthing we needed for our mini vacation. There was even water and sodas in the fridge!!! The location was right off interstae 5, which made an easy drive to anywhere you wanted to go.The beautiful desert and towns were minutes away. I am very picky where I stay. Jay was so nice and VERY accomadating, Because of him and the next time we visit Arizona, I will stay no place else...
Owner response:The actual location is off of Hwy 60, not 5.

My parents, son and I just got back from a week in Mesa. We could not have been happier with our decision to stay in this condo. It is so clean and well decorated. The photographs that are displayed throughout the condo are absolutely breathtaking. The owners have thought of every possible thing that a vacationer would need while staying in Mesa. The owner was so easy to contact prior to our trip, during our trip and even after our trip, as we forgot some things in the unit. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The units are well constructed and attractive. We found Mesa very clean, friendly and easy to get around in. We will for sure stay at this unit again! After looking at all the sites on VRBO I kept coming back to this unit and now I know why! I highly recommend this destination!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this townhouse. The premises were extremely clean and well kept. Jay is a gentleman and very accommodating . It was a pleasure doing business with him. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone wishing to stay in the Mesa area. We felt it was a home away from home. Cliff and Lesley

We stayed for a week in January 2010 and this more than met our expectations. The photos on VRBO don't do the place justice for how well kept and decorated the unit is. This was the first time I've rented a property over the internet and they made it very comfortable for us, with good communication and follo-up. Thank you so much for making our visit wonderful!!

Our family (myself, my wife and two teenagers) stayed in this property for a week in late December, 2009 and early January, 2010. It is very new, nicely appointed and close to everything in Mesa. As well, the owners are very helpful and took the time to meet us upon our arrival. In short, I would highly recommend it.

This unit is topnotch--immaculate, spacious, comfortable. Location is convenient for excellent shopping. The owners were eager to please, readily available for assistance if needed, and very pleasant. It was quiet, easily accessed, and I would recommend it highly and will make it my first choice for future stays. Thank you, Jay and Tina!
