Rental Description
Exquisitely charming house, picturesque with extraordinary views of sunrises and sunsets over the shimmering reflections from the Bay and the Ocean beyond. Built on the top of the Shinecock hill in Southampton with its own private walkway to the Bay below, where you can gaze at the water from a secluded over-the-water deck. You will have full water view from all the rooms and from the large kitchen windows to delight the cooks. The house is beautifully furnished with a mixture of antiques and comfortable upholstery and includes all other amenities.
The large-sized living room has cathedral ceilings and a fireplace for cool evenings. The dining area has a large dinner table suitable for formal or casual dinners with your guests with spectacular water-views from both the living room and dining areas. From this level you can go out onto a large upper deck overlooking the Bay and the Ocean. The kitchen has 2 large L shape granite counters with sinks, a high granite bar-counter for drinks and for easy service to the dining table. From the completely equipped modern kitchen you walk out to another round deck with a round table for dining above the pool and out-door Jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful secluded yard and the Bay. There is a powder room/bathroom for your guests located next to the kitchen and office library.
On the midlevel there are three spacious bedroom suites; two with queen-size beds with their own full bathrooms and private accesses to separate decks overlooking the water. It has also another bedroom with two single beds for guests and children with its own full bathroom. The master bedroom suite has a double-sized Jacuzzi, enclosed shower, and two sinks. The sun-room-family den has a pull-out sofa-bed for 2 and it can also be used as the forth bedroom.
Another bedroom suite is located in the lowest level. It has sofas, a TV and its own full bath and can be used for additional guestroom or as the maid’s room. It has its own access to a large covered deck overlooking the water; the coolest shady respite in hot summer days and from there you can walk down the path to the water below.
The yard is sheer joy to the eye: it has various trees and plants that provide shade and beauty with many scenic and restful spots to read, to meditate, and to write. There are chaises around and resting chairs around the pool, a hammock on the midlevel flat part of the hill as you walk down to the Bay below. You could even enjoy a Barbecue on the deck above the water where you can grill the fish you catch from the Bay.
Will accept small household trained pet, but no smoking allowed.
The house is a short distance from one of the world's best white sand Ocean beaches for ocean swimming, jogging, and long walks into the sunset. It is located near golf courses, tennis, riding, as well as a fitness center and spas.
Amenities: The house is fully air conditioned, it has Cable TVs, Stereo, CD Player, DVD, radios and a fire place. The Kitchen has a gas/electric Range/Oven, Microwave/Convection Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Ice Maker, with all the necessary pots and pans, cooking utensils, with white china dinner sets and glassware. We provide all Bed Linens & Towels, and you can use the washer & dryer in the work room laundry room below.
Special instructions and info will be provided for the yard service and pool Maintenance, for the weekly House Cleaning, Garbage Removal, and for the automated Irrigation System.

We prefer long term monthly rentals but we will respond to inquiries for 10-14 days stays. Because of pool and yard maintenance cost we could not accommodate request for 2-3 days or one weekend rental inquiries. It is not for BED AND BREAKFAST seekers.
