Exquisite waterfront charming house, picturesque with extraordinary sunrise and sunset views of the Bay and the Ocean beyond. Built on top Shinnecock Hills with its own private walkway to the Bay below to a secluded over-the-water deck. House beautifully furnished with a mixture of antiques and comfortable upholstery with full water view from all the rooms and the kitchen to delight the cooks.
Large-sized cathedral ceilings living room with a fireplace for cool evenings. The dining area has a large dinner table suitable for formal or casual dinners or receptions with spectacular water-views. From this level you can go out onto a large upper deck overlooking the Bay and the Ocean. Kitchen has 2 large L shape granite counters with sinks, a high granite bar-counter for drinks and for easy service to the dining table. From this fully equipped kitchen you can also dine on the semi circle deck above the pool and the out-door Jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful secluded yard and the Bay. A powder room/bathroom is located next to the kitchen and office library.
Three spacious bedroom suites are located on midlevel: 2 b/r with queen-size beds with their own full bathrooms and wide French doors opening to separate decks overlooking the water. Another children/guest bedroom has 2 single beds with its own full bathroom.
The master bedroom suite has a double-sized Jacuzzi, enclosed shower, and two sinks. The sun-room-family den has a pull-out sofa-bed for 2 and it can also be used as the fourth bedroom.
Another bedroom suite is located in the lowest level. It has a sofa, a TV and its own full bathroom and can be used as an additional guestroom or a maid’s/au-pair room. The lower level has its own access to a large covered deck overlooking the water,and from there you can walk down the path to the water below.
The yard is sheer joy to the eye: it has various trees and plants that provide shade and beauty with many scenic and restful spots to read, to meditate, and to write. There are chaises around the pool, a hammock on the midlevel path down the hill as you walk down to the Bay below. You could even enjoy a Barbecue on the deck above the water where you can grill the fish you catch from the Bay.
Will accept small household trained pet, but no smoking allowed.
The house is a short distance from one of the world's best white sand Ocean beaches for ocean swimming, jogging, and long walks into the sunset. It is located near golf courses, tennis, riding, as well as a fitness center and spas.
Amenities: The house is fully air-conditioned, it has Cable TVs, Stereo, CD Player, DVD, radios and a fire place. The Kitchen has a gas/electric Range/Oven, Microwave/Convection Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Ice Maker, with all the necessary pots and pans, cooking utensils, with white china dinner sets and glassware. We provide all Bed Linens & Towels, and you can use the washer & dryer in the work room laundry room below.
Special instructions and info will be provided for the yard service and pool Maintenance, for the weekly House Cleaning, Garbage Removal, and for the automated Irrigation System.
