Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2008
The cabin construction was completed in 2009. It was built for two families to share comfortably. The cabin gives you the best of both worlds. You can do as little or as much as your "vacationing" self wants to do. Sometimes we go on trail runs and fishing with the kids (at one of the lakes or the fish hatchery). While other times we stay at the cabin and play a family game of soccer, horseshoes or just sit on the porch with a book. It's a wonderful place to visit!

This property served as an excellent location for our winter getaway. Having a large group proved to be no problem for this cabin. As the description states, it was intended for 2 families....and it lives up to that! Plenty of space for sleeping, playing, relaxing and just having an enjoyable experience. This property backs up to the National Forest, and allowed everyone to get out of the cabin to go for walks (even in the snow) and go sledding. Everything was just as described and more! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. The owners were great to deal with, answered all my questions, and returned the incidental deposit in a very timely manner. Thank You Pace Cottage!!

The cabin was beatiful and a great place for our large group to gather. The kitchen is large enough for many hands to work together and the pantry is huge for storing lots of food. Also the bar has its own fridge, and there is an extra fridge in the laundry room so there was tons of fridge space. The area was very quiet where the cabin is located and the only other people we saw was the bulldozer dozing away the snow. We spent alot of time outside enjoying the backyard and all the snow. I can see in the summer months going hiking right out the back door as it back onto the national forest. The owners are great to deal with and answered any questions we had promptly. It was also a nice treat to be able to bring our dogs. Thank you For the wonderful experience, and we will hopefully be back in the future!

WOW doesn't even come close to discribing this "cabin"! We rented it with another couple - we could have invited our children and their children and our friends kids and grandkids and we still would have had room! Everything was easy to use - 65" TV with satilite (got to watch the world series!), warmed up to the cozy fire place in the family room, had drinks and played cards at the horseshoe shaped bar, played horseshoes and gathered round the fireplace outside. We went for long walks in the forest and checked out the lake, but we didn't fish. What an incredible place - perfect for large families.

We had a girl's getaway at the Pace Cottage and it was luxurious and relaxing. Everybody had a bed, everybody had a bath, and everybody had a blast. We used every inch of the backyard with games galore. Our meals were gourmet thanks to the wonderful kitchen and outdoor grill. It was nice that we could all dine at one table and all be in one room without feeling cramped. We hiked for miles on trails leaving right from the property. The community is peaceful and calm. Everything about this cabin is everything you could think of to feel spoiled for your vacation getaway. We hope to return next year if it is available.

We pulled up to the home and the kids got out of the car before we did and as each one walked into the home i heard. Wow, Wow, Oh man and holy smokes! Then I walked in and said Wow as well. Lovely home, nice large beds. We had every bed filled and people all loved it. having that many people there was not an issue with space or cooking, food etc...There was really nothing the owners had not already thought of and prepared for. Our 5 families played lots of B ball, horseshoes, frisbee, card games, fishing, walks in the forest! This place is perfect for a large group and everything in the home is of high quality, appliances, TV's, fixtures, etc! Better than any cabin we have ever stayed in!

This is a large, beautiful home in a wonderful community at 7500'. Not too busy; quiet, right on the national forest. We've rented a few homes in Forest Lakes and now settled on this one as our favorite.

We rented Pace Cabin for our departmental retreat last week and could not believe how beautiful and PERFECT it was for our meeting. Becca was such a wonderful help in getting the necessary contracts and payment accomplished she made our stay such a wonderful experience. The beds were heavenly and the cabin had every luxury of a 5 star hotel (except the room service) The snow was magical and we will definately rent the cabin again if we are back in that area next year.

Pace Cabin is a beautiful, well maintained home only 2 hours from Phoenix. We had 4 families in our group and this property accommodated us perfectly. The six bedrooms made it easy for us to spread out, yet we were all able to hang out comfortably in the living area. There is PLENTY of seating and the layout is ideal for entertaining large groups. The beds are SUPER comfortable and the property is gorgeous! The kids had a great time playing in the snow, on the playground, and in the large loft. This home was designed with the comfort of guests in mind!

This place was gorgeous and we felt it like a dream vacation. Very well managed and very spacious place. Pictures are not even justifying 50% of the reality. The central and surround speaker system was fabulous. Kids enjoyed play area, adults enjoyed football, basketball, camp fire etc. Every thing is supplied by the owners, we just need to show up there. Relaxed and had fun for the labour weekend in this home. We are planning to visit this place again in near future.
