  We (two adults and two teenagers) stayed at Casa Bella for Christmas this year (2012), and our entire stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The cabin (it's more like a home) is beautiful, with wonderful touches everywhere. The bedrooms are large and the feel is light and open. We loved the fireplace and it snowed while we were there. I would love to stay in the summer as well. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

  What an adorable place - comfortable, beautiful artwork and decorations, and well-stocked. We had a relaxing vacation and would highly recommend this place.

  Our stay at Casa Bella was wonderful! The cabin was warm, inviting and very comfortable. We would love to visit Casa Bella again in the future. Thank you for providing such a wonderful getaway!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cabin over New Year's. The welcome bottle of wine and stamped postcards were a sweet touch. Our family was so comfortable and felt right at home in this beautiful, well-appointed cabin, we all fell in love with it and kept congratulating each other on our good fortune that we didn't stay in a hotel. Love the star light fixtures, the lights on the deck and all the books! We walked down to Cafe Blossom for lunch then drove the short drive to Pine Crest Lake where the kids went sledding and had a ball in the snow then came back to the cozy cabin for hot chocolate, games and a movie. We made dinners at the cabin thanks to the well stocked kitchen. Rick was so helpful and welcoming, we knew if we needed anything he was close by. The rest of my family were all sound asleep at midnight on New Year's but since I was up reading I stepped out on the deck at midnight with my glass of champagne and the peaceful mountain stillness was suddenly broken by fireworks, horn honkers and well wishers calling out Happy New Year! It brought me a big smile that I still carry with me, just one of many magical moments spent on this memorable vacation. We hope to return soon, perhaps in the summertime. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, comfortable retreat. I would highly recommend Casa Bella for anyone who needs to get away from it all and relax.

  Our family stayed at Casa Bella over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The photos on the VRBO site are truly inviting, but visiting the cabin in person pales in comparison! It is a beautiful and comfortable home that is tastefully decorated. The place is immaculate, well-stocked for cooking, dining and cleaning up afterward, well-heated (with extra space heaters in each bedroom), and is within walking distance to town. We even got to watch a couple of kid-friendly movies, courtesy of the video and DVD library at the cabin. (There is a huge selection of books, too!) Unfortunately, our plans didn’t allow us to explore all of Twain Harte; our primary reason for visiting the area was to attend a wedding in nearby Columbia. The drive to and from the cabin was scenic, with the tree-lined streets in Twain Harte and the fall leaves displaying some spectacular colors. It was a majestic weekend—incredible weather, incredible friends, and a mini-vacation for our family at a place we’d definitely like to visit again and stay for more than two nights. The owners, Natalie and Cres, were a pleasure to work with, from start to finish. They are truly customer service professionals—all correspondence was answered quickly; they had a gift basket with wine and chocolates, postcards, and a map of Twain Harte waiting for us upon arrival; and returned our security deposit in record time. The other reviews here are accurate, but our four year-old daughter’s remark crystallizes our feelings about Casa Bella: “Can we stay here forever?”

  We truly enjoyed our stay in Casa Bella. We have been going to Twain Harte off and on for the last thirty some years and I must say that this is perhaps the cleanest and cutest house we have stayed in. We look forward to going back in the future and we hope to stay once again in the Casa Bella.

  We had such a great time at your cabin. We were very surprised to find so many amenities, especially when we prepared a dinner and brunch for local family members. Everything we needed was there. The cabin was beautiful, just as the photos represented. The short walk to down town, the Twain Harte Lake, and local fishing will keep us coming back.

  Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin rental! The moment we opened the front door we felt so relaxed and welcomed. You can tell you have put a lot of love and effort into your home to make it such an inviting space...you can feel it! The deck was amazing! What an escape for us in the evening to sit, chat and enjoy a much needed glass of wine (the wine you left for us was excellent!). The kitchen and living areas were perfect. I loved the large granite island with the bar stools. We had company come over as I cooked us all dinner. Your house is complete with everything I needed to make my cooking magic happen. We all throughly enjoyed our week. We would love to rent this time of year every summer. I can see us making great summer memories here every year! Not to mention that our time at Twain Harte lake was the perfect cherry on top! Thank you so much Natalie!

  We loved Casa Bella! the Home is charmingly decorated, the deck is wonderful for outdoor meals, the lake was lovely and within walking distance and the owner was easy to work with. Can't wait to go back.

  An opening came up in my schedule and I just had to get away to the mountains....Natalie was great at making this happen for me on such short notice! I have rented many cabins over the years and am always somewhat "disgusted" by the worn, saggy furniture, dirty-feeling carpet, and rustic "appeal". Casa Bella was a pleasant surprise! Tastefully decorated, yet still a rustic feel. Very comfortable to relax indoors or out. It is located within walking distance to town, making for a carefree weekend. I will definitely visit Casa Bella again and most certainly recommend it to friends and family looking for some time away. A truly wonderful experience!
