A free bus stops in the center of the property to take you and your party to the slopes or down into the charming town of Crested Butte for fun shopping, fine dining, or enjoying a movie at the Majestic Theater. The Chateaux is also within easy walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and a convenience store (deli/video/drinks).

We are from Virginia and love the Crested Butte area. My son is a student at Western. I am a software implementation consultant and my husband is an architect. We enjoy the skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and scenery of Crested Butte and try to come out whenever we can.
