Welcome to our home, a gated community called FOUNTAIN MIST CONDOMINIUM located in Fountain Hills, AZ. As the name suggests, we are in the heart of a quaint, quiet and thriving area within walking distance of shopping and boutiques, fine and casual dining, the library, the community center, the post office and the town’s famous fountain and adjacent park for which Fountain Hills is named.
Nestled in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains you will enjoy spectacular views of three mountain ranges from many vantage points throughout the town. Our community hosts many events and programs throughout the year that will surely please every member of your family.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME - This exquisite, fully furnished, professionally decorated, 2-story townhome, with its own covered balcony, is waiting for you to get away in style. At 2,024 square feet, it boasts Three BEDROOMS and TWO full and 1 half bathroom, one of which is in the master creating a cozy suite setting. The loft is equipped with a desk and chair, and a computer, wireless internet and more.
The LIVING ROOM comes complete with a media niche that includes a 42” plasma TV. Imagine reading a book or enjoying your morning coffee in our beautiful reclining chairs. The BREAKFAST BAR, KITCHEN and DINING AREA round out the open “great room” feel to your space.
The home also includes a LAUNDRY CLOSET that houses a full size washer and dryer. In addition, you will enjoy parking your vehicle in the two CAR ATTACHED GARAGE. Your guests will also enjoy ONE PARKING SPACE. Additional amenities available to residents and guests include a heated pool and hot tub located a mere 40 feet from your back door.
MASTER BEDROOM & BATH HIGHLIGHTS ON THE FIRST FLOOR - The master bedroom features a KING SIZE PILLOW TOP BED with a beautiful rattan head board. A full length dresser with mirror is accompanied by matching dual night stands and lamps. The beautiful duvet with matching decorative pillows and bed skirt.
The master bath includes an oversized, glass enclosed shower with seat, a full sized oval soaking tub and a large double vanity. Add bubbles and candles and you’ve created a luxurious spa getaway right at home.
GUEST BEDROOM #1 HIGHLIGHTS - The guest bedroom features a queen size bed with dual side tables, a matching dresser and lamps. Lovely, linens, with matching decorative pillows and bed skirt are eye catching. The room has cable and a 40" TV. The bathroom is open to the bedroom and hallway on the second floor.
GUEST BEDROOM #2 HIGHLIGHTS - The guest bedroom features a two twin beds, a dresser and a one night stand. Linens, with matching decorative pillows and bed skirt are eye catching.
KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS - The FULLY FURNISHED kitchen features, granite countertops, maple cabinetry, a 26 cu ft side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, self-cleaning smooth surface range, dishwasher, built-in microwave and a garbage disposal. The kitchen also comes equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, and cutlery set along with complete service for 8 – everything you’ll need to make your stay a culinary delight.
LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS - The living room offers a relaxing place to kick back and relax. Whether you enjoy watching your favorite programs or DVD’s on the 42” SONY PLASMA TV or listening to music on the CD player you will feel right at home here.
In addition to a sofa, the living room also features one matching chair. The living room has a fireplace and view of the pool and mountains through the 10’ sliding glass doors.

• HIKING & BIKING - McDowell Mountain Park offers both & is nearby. GRAND CANYON views & hiking are 4 hrs North. Saguaro Canyon State Park & Mt. Lemmon are 2-3 hrs South.
• BOATING and FISHING - several lakes are within a 30-90 minute drive.
• For you BASEBALL fans, Phoenix is the winter home to several major league baseball teams.
• Popular SNOW SKIING areas - Flagstaff, about 3 hours North; the White Mountains near Pinetop, about 3 hours Northeast; Mt. Lemmon near Tucson; about 2-3 hours South.
• THEATER AND CONCERT – check out the Fountain Hills Community Theater, the Fountain Hills Chamber Players, and/or the “In-home” Concert Series. Symphony goers - several nearby communities offer programs throughout the year. Jobing Arena in Glendale is home to football, ice hockey and concerts by many big name stars (60 minutes).
• MUSEUMS - try the Arizona Science Center and the Phoenix Museum of History, both located near downtown Phoenix.
• The DESERT BOTANICAL GARDENS located at Papago Park in Phoenix offers a beautiful display of desert plants and flowers.
• SHOPPERS - there are several malls and shopping areas worth visiting. My favorites (let’s keep this to ourselves, ladies) are Kierland Commons, the Biltmore Fashion Park, and Arizona Mills Mall. More unique shops can be found at The Borgata in Scottsdale and Old Scottsdale.
• DINING – What can we say? Like most metropolitan areas, Phoenix offers just about any type of cuisine you might be craving.
• SEDONA & JEROME – These two towns may be last on the list but, they are certainly worth taking the time to explore during your stay with us.

When my husband and I decided to purchase our vacation home, Fountain Hills was the obvious choice for us. Close to Scottsdale and all that the Phoenix area has to offer, this picturesque town with its world famous fountain provides residents and visitors with a relaxed, homey feeling that is so rare in large metropolitan areas. Nestled in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains you will also experience spectacular views from many vantage points throughout the community.

Located a short drive from four top rated golf courses, two casinos, hiking and walking paths, and Scottsdale shopping, our home is also within walking distance of shopping, the post office and library, the fountain with its adjacent park offering a beautiful hourly display, coffee shops and both fine and casual dining. Phoenix Sky Harbor and Mesa/Gateway Airports are only a 30-40 minute drive.

My wife and I have visited the Phoenix area for several years. My wife and children visit every year during Cub's spring training, even though our work has given us the flexibility of traveling we have not been able to travel as much due the economy. We have always looked forward to returning to the lifestyle that is Arizona. There is so much to do there; all within a few hours drive - imagine breakfast by the pool or a walk around the fountain, a quick round of golf and dinner overlooking the Grand Canyon.
