Our small island has a terrific view of Rainy Lake. We are in a well protected bay on the edge of Voyageurs National Park. Rainy Lake is literally 20 feet from your cabin's front door! There are many dinning options within minutes by boat. We have great fishing from our docks and from shore.
Loons abound in our bay. For the kids there are plenty of turtles and frogs to chase. There is a sand swimming beach on a nearby island.

Year Purchased: 2001
Our family has been involved in the tourism business for over 100 years. Our great grandfather Red Lessard built and operated the first resort on Rainy Lake circa 1908.My grandpa Fred Lessard and his brothers Albert, Jim and Osie helped build the Kettle Falls Hotel. Which in later years was owned by the Williams family. It is now owned by Voyageurs National Park. My wife LeeAnne and I began Woody's Rainy Lake Resort about 20 years ago.
