From the moment you step out of your car your stay will be relaxing or filled with activity depending on the pace you set. Stepping into the Blue Gem you will find a fully equipped kitchen with espresso maker for those morning pick-me-ups.
This Lake Hartwell Vacation Home features a cozy living room with a wood burning, stone fireplace. The master bedroom is complete with king size brass bed, his and her vanity-toilet dressing area with adjoining shower. Other sleeping arrangements include,king bedroom, queen bedroom both with private baths, full size bedroom, and a kids bunkroom with 4 single bunks, family sleeping room with queen and bunk and a queen hide a bed in the Living Room.
The rec. room is fun with the ping pong table and Nintendo. The Great room/Sun room is a perfect place for time together, or relax with the view from the screened porch, or from the covered deck. Enjoy the deep water, large covered boat/swim dock with boat slip, and fish in Lake Hartwell's deep water off the dock. Private and rural yet 15 minutes from marina or stores. Without a doubt you will certainly be pleased with "Blue Gem of the Lake".

We had a WONDERFUL time at your home! We had so many plans for going so many places and ended up spending most of our time down at the dock, swimming, fishing, and relaxing! The kids especially loved being on the lake! Thank you for helping make our family reunion a special memory for all of us! August 2002

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your house! We all felt so at home. The floor plan allows for so much flexibility. It was great to have ping pong or Nintendo downstairs, puzzlemakers in the game corner, girls watching a video in the bedroom so Papa could watch the news etc... We really enjoyed choosing a movie each night too. You have quite the collection going on! The boating was especially sweet. Monday through Friday we had the lake practically all to ourselves. That allowed some of the beginner knee boarders and skiers to have an easier start. Several of us were able to do some things that we had never done before. We had a couple of first time skiers. I turned my 10 & 12 year old boys into kneeboarder finatics and we even took Papa for a pretty aggresive tube ride. We enjoyed feeding the fish and a cute little turtle that would only eat if we held a big piece of bread in front of him. Then---there was, I think, a prowling bass that kept on it's fish patrol. He made several splashes, so we were convinced that he was having a snack under the dock. Thank you so much! It has been a pleasure doing business with you!
