Great house & convenient location

We spent Christmas in Bay St. Louis and stayed in this house. The house was great and the location is excellent. Denise, the owner, even put up a fully decorated tree for us and set the table for Christmas dinner. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to stay there again. I would recommend this property to anyone. Both the house and the owners are top notch!! Thanks, Denise!!

It's was more than we expected

We felt right at home the moment we walked in the house. It was very warm and welcoming. The home was very clean and well taken care of. You can tell the owners care about the people they rent to. Very bright and airy. The bedrooms were all very good sized. There was extra sheets, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, silver wear, pots and pans, and other items. The bathrooms are very spacious and stocked with plenty of towels. The neighborhood is very quiet. The pool was very clean and most inviting looking, but the water was a tad bit too cold to enjoy. :( The livingroom area was very roomy with plenty of space for all of us to stretch out and kick back after a day of work. A group of us came to Mississippi to help rebuild the Bay St. Louis/Waveland, Seal Pointe area from the damage sustained when Hurricane Katrina came through. Being able to come "home" to this house after working all day was very welcoming. We definitely will be renting here again if it is available. In fact, I am hoping to talk my family into coming to Mississippi for vacation next year. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is planning on coming to Mississippi for vacation. The owners were very helpful before we came to Mississippi by e-mail and phone as well as when we arrived. I also recommend eating at Shaggy's and BB Barbeque.

Description was perfect, the house was just as the pictures showed. It was a lovely place and we felt right at home. The owners are wonderful people and very helpful. The property was clean and very well maintained. The pool is large and clean. I would very highly recommend this property. It is close to New Orleans and Gulf Port. Loved it and had a wonderful time. Thank you, Denise, for allowing us to rent your beautiful home for our visit to the MS Gulf Coast. We love the area and love the people! The house is truly a "home away from home". Very clean, well stocked, and has a gorgeous back yard & big pool. Only about an hour away from New Orleans which makes for a nice day trip. We're already planning our trip back, hopefully next summer! Hoping to bring my parents and older son with us then :)

WONDERFUL! Denise Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! We are so blessed to have stayed in a home away from home. You and your husband are such wonderful people and we cannot wait for next June to enjoy your home as ours but for 2 weeks this time next only 1! The house is extremely open and full of room! Wonderful Home away from Home

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We truely enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do justice to this wonderful home! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, we truely enjoyed our late night and early morning swims in the pool. This was truely one of our best vacations yet! The home was centrally located to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The jacuzzi tub in the master bath was wonderful to soak in after walking for hours site seeing! For any one traveling to New Orleans I suggest parking on the out skirts of the city and riding the street cars! We did not realize how expensive parking in the city is, and the street cars are only $3 per person for an entire day much cheaper than parking in the city! I reccomend the Audobon Zoo as a must do, it was one of the nicest zoo's we have been to. We really enjoyed the patio, it was very relaxing to set and enjoy the evening, the girls spent a great deal of time out there as well. The house is very spacious and we never felt crowded with all of the seating, We absolutely loved the way the walls were painted! I never sleep well on vacations, but the beds were so comfortable we all slept like babies! We hated to see our vacation end and are already planning our next trip back to the gulf coast with our daughter and our sons and their wives! We have vacationed on the Outer Banks of North Carolina frequently since we moved north (we used to live on the coast in North Carolina) and I loved Mississippi and Louisiana even more! The beaches just down the street had hardly any one on them! You practically had the beach to yourself. This was truely a home away from home! Denise has done a wonderful job of decorating and and making her vacation rental a very welcoming home away from home! Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us! We will be in touch soon to make reservations for our next trip down!

The house is nice and clean and just as described. The interior is completly updated and very nice.The king bed in the master bedroom was comfy. There is a great pool in the large back yard, and it is fenced with 6 ft privacy fence. A word of caution for visitors with dogs 30 lbs and under; several runs of the backyard fence do not fully meet the ground, so a small dog could easily escape if not on lead. While I visited in May with my Golden Retriever, a small dog from the neighborhood was continually coming and going from the backyard,but was no problem. The owner, Denise was wonderful to work with. She answered my email promptly and went out of her way to accomodate my last minute trip, making sure we were comfortable. I would definitely love to stay here again, and would highly recommend this house, especially in the warmer months, because of the lovely pool. Thank you again Denise for having a dog friendly property.

Denise, we enjoyed our stay at your house. It was just as described. Perfect for a peaceful get away!! The only thing we didn't like was the fact that there was only one tv in the whole house...not a big deal. We hope to return in the summer time to try the pool out. We loved the house, its very nice. We were here for Cruzin the Coast !! This was our second year here. It was wonderful. We love this house and everything that goes with it . The pool kept the kids happy and the beach was just down the road, beautiful !! We loved coming home at the end of a long day out!! Pictures do not give justice here, lg open floor plan, Beautifully remodeled home!! Thank-You soooo much Denise and hubby for the awesome hospitality!! We'll see you next year!!
