Christmas in Paris

We celebrated the holidays at this beautiful home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is perfect with a "one-minute commute" to the metro. The neighborhood is very sweet and just steps away from the Bastille market; interesting shops and amazing falafel in the Marais; as well as art galleries near the Place des Vosges and in the Village of St. Paul. With the metro so close by, we easily mastered getting around the city and enjoyed walking over to the 5th and 6th. We truly felt like Parisians living in our own little neighborhood and not tourists caught in the hustle and bustle of the city. There were five people in our party and the apartment accommodated us perfectly. We enjoyed buying fresh meats, produce and flowers at the Bastille market and cooking in. The dining table officially seats four, but can handle a fifth. More than that would have to spill over to the small bistro table on the balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom has a wall of closets for storage, which was a good thing. The bathrooms are updated and laid out such that three people (women) can get dressed at the same time. Another very good thing. :) Lastly, everyone we met was so welcoming and helpful. The Parisians have a real gentle way of living and I hope to learn from them...with lots of practice. Thank you Christiana and Janet for your excellent service before, during and after our stay! Thank you for a beautiful place. So conveniently located! We walked for miles in this great city with lovely bars & restaurants so close by. The apartment is in a great location and I hope to be back some day.

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment so very close to the metro station of the Bastille. Within walking distance you are in centre of the Marais. We stayed here with 7 women for 10 days and the bed-,living, bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen was ok, but not big enough to make dinner for so many, space wise. Christiana and her collegue were very very helpful with any questions we had and information to give re. places to visit. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Wonderful welcome service. Beautiful property. A little more worn than in the photos but that was part of the apartment's charm. We loved the location in the 3rd arrondissement. I would recommend this place to any one of my friends.

We came for a short honeymoon break after a hectic French wedding, along with our 2 children (2 yrs & 7 weeks). People often asked if we were crazy doing so much with such little children, but we all had an amazing time. Christiana cooked us a special treat one night which we would recommend if you are house bound in the evenings! Jardin des Plantes and Musé d'Orsay were our highlights, though we won't miss the metro steps avec baggy, kids and bags! A bientôt!

Spacious, beautiful, classic Parisian apartment!

Our family of 5 (three teenaged girls) had a wonderful stay in this apartment last summer. I had never rented an apt online before and I consider myself to be fairly picky, so I was extremely nervous beforehand, but everything worked out perfectly. The apartment is just as attractive, spacious and well-kept as it appears in the photos. It truly felt like home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, modern and clean. The location is excellent - close enough to everything yet in a slightly quieter, more residential, less touristy area. We enjoyed buying croissants at the local boulangeries and eating them on our terrace, then walking or heading just a couple of blocks over to the the Bastille metro stop to go anywhere in or around Paris. At night there were so many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. In the neighborhood we especially enjoyed the peaceful Place des Vosges park and the farmers market near the Bastille. Christiana and Janet were pleasant, communicative and flexible, and helped us with our travel arrangements. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

Great spacious city apartment

Apartment with 3 large bedrooms, spacious living area, elevator and air conditioning is a rare find. Close to metro, groceries, restaurants and a delicious bakery. We were very comfortable in this elegant apartment. Clean and well supplied. Property manager was excellent. Definitely recommend, would rent again.

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and as described. Perfectly located in the lively Bastille/Marais quarter; close to so many great sites and wonderful restaurants. Very central with great access to everything whether by metro, bus, boat or on foot. The management is quite efficient, helpful and friendly. Two couples fit perfectly and we all loved the very classic Parisian ambiance of this flat.

Perfect apartment, perfect location

Extremely comfortable, well-appointed, well located accomodations. I would highly recommend it. We were a multigenerational group -- two 10 year olds, two 50 year olds, and two seniors -- and had plenty of space.And, everything is so close -- the Metro, bakeries, markets, groceries. It felt like home, only better.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights here with grandparents from Oregon.A perfect location and a great apartment - all needs catered for in such a luxurious setting. We spent a day in Eurodisney and the rest sightseeing and playing in the local parks with our two children. Thanks! Ali

What a beautiful apartment-just as well appointed as it appeared on the website. Would recommend to friends and family. Location was perfect-right in the center of the city. So glad we didn't go to a hotel-the spacious apartment allowed us (5) to gather and plan our days and nights. I was concerned because there weren't any reviews, so that is why I am writing this. It was really a beautiful Parisian apartment!The owner's agent was great,too.
