From tiled floors and stone walls to ceilings with original wood beams, Maison Trompe offers all that is typical of medieval Uzès. Completed by a sunny south-facing garden, the house is a restful retreat yet just a few steps from the historic buildings, shops and restaurants of Uzès.
The house is particularly suited to longer lets and has been very popular with longer term visitors.
Accessed from a private south facing garden, the 3-storey residence comprises:
* Reception room - bright and sunny with sofas and CD player
* Kitchen / diner - large room with gas cooker, fridge, toaster, dining table and chairs
* Master suite - with double bed, study/dressing room and en-suite shower room, restored old terracotta tiled floor, light and airy
* Double bedroom - with double bed, restored old terracotta tiled floor
* Twin bedroom - twin beds, the master suite is accessed through this room
* Family bathroom - with toilet, basin and bath with shower over
* Utility room - with washing machine, toilet and wash hand basin
Gas central heating throughout for winter lets. Fans in summer.
Private walled garden with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue.

* All linen (bedding, bath towels and kitchen linen). Fresh linen is provided at the end of every week.

Uzès is a completely unspoilt town with a fascinating history. It is characterized by well-preserved, elegant town houses built in local limestone. Each Saturday, the town is filled by one of the best Provencal markets in the area - there is also a producers' food market every Wednesday morning. Specialty markets, fairs, concerts and other events are held throughout the year including Music Festival (July), Fete Votive (August), Wine Fair (August), Truffle Fair (January). Whenever you visit, there is always plenty to do Close by: Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, Orange, Aix-en-Provence and Nîmes. A little further afield: beaches, The Camargue, Aigues Mortes, Montpellier, Marseille
