Sunny high floor apartment in newly built elevator building with balcony and view. This loft-like studio is located just 30 seconds from the Rosenthaler Platz subway station. It is facing the rear of the building (south) and is very quiet. The balcony is accessible via sliding glass doors and has a pretty view of Berlin.

The modern design features natural oak floors, electronic blinds, floor heating, top of the line kitchen and a spa like bathroom with glass tiles. The furniture includes a queen size bed, seating section, breakfast bar, large closet, outdoor furniture, flat screen TV, DVD player, audio system with iPod hook-up. WIFI reception is included and a coin operated washer/ dryer is located in the basement. The neighborhood amenities include restaurants (Japanese restaurant in building), shopping, galleries, post office, ATMs, 24 hour stores, easy transportation via U-Bahn, S-Bahn and streetcars. Hackescher Markt, Museums Island, Spree River and Alexander Platz are all in walking distance. The New York Times wrote in 2007 "..Brunnenstrasse is emerging as the new gallery district..".

    • I stayed one month in the brand new Rosenthal Suite at 193 Brunnenstrasse and it was perfect in every way. The area is a hotbed of creativity, from great restaurants, art galleries, bars, cool boutiques (Commes Des Garcons has a boutique just doors away), to all the things you need to live like a local (Giant REWE grocery store, DVD Rental shop, ST.Oberholz for a great internet cafe all within walking distance) Stefan, the owner could not have been more efficient and hospitable. The unit speaks for itself in the pictures. Clean, modern and well appointed for 1-2 people. It's also on a high floor facing a nice large courtyard with great light and is super quiet. The location cannot be beat as it allows you to walk to Kastanienalle, the hip part of Prenzlauer Berg and the great shopping area of Hackescher Markt. Location, location, location! Cheers, H
