A group of us just stayed here over the weekend as we were participating in the Tough Mudder event which took place at Mount Snow. The house was ideal location wise for the event as it is only about 20 (ish) minutes from Mount Snow. It was perfect for us as a large group as there was more than enough space for us all to gather in the kitchen/living room/finished basement or Outside on the deck. Plus with 6 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms sleeping arrangements were not a problem and all the bathrooms came in useful for all the 'tough mudders' to shower after the event. We had use of the fabulous pool and hot tub outside and the pool house which has an open fire and is screened was perfect for the adults to gather in the evening. Would definately recommend this house for rental, only suggestion I could make to the owners (and downside to the house) is there were no blinds/curtains on the bedroom windows, which made napping during the day for kids impossible and even sleeping for adults was a pain as you were awake at 6:00am when daylight broke. Other than that our stay there was great.

Stayed at this amazing Vermont home with a family of 10, ages 2-50. Everything was well taken care of and exceeded our expectations. The owner and property manager were accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. The property had everything we could ask for and more, including a great entertainment system throughout the house, a clean hot tub, and a spectacular fireplace. We look forward to staying again very soon! Fantastic vacation home for any season. Thank you for everything!

We have rented other homes in VT- and this is by the far the best. Great for our family of 7 - spacious, nicely furnished, and a terrific kitchen. The house is well taken care and has alot of bells & whistles- Lots to do we conquered 5 days of skiing at 3 different mountains, nordic at the close Timbercreek Nordic Center and snowshoeing out the back door- and not to mention the hot tub to recover in-

A group of friends in our late 20's spent 4 nights over the 2011 MLK weekend at this home. The home was beautiful. Spacious enough for 12 of us yet cozy at the same time. We put the wood fireplace to work over the weekend and made use of the huge property for a couple of exhausting football games. The kitchen had top notch appliances which we used to make nightly dinners. We made use of the hot tub each night after skiing at Mt. Snow. We also made a lot of use of the media center area to watch movies, sports, etc. David, the owner, was very accommodating and answered all of our questions about the house. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to visit again.

In the three weeks we were at this wonderful property we had a range of experience: from cold weather with evenings enjoyed by the great fireplaces and barbecue pits to unusually hot weather enjoyed with dips in the pool; from intimate cozy evenings for two to a family reunion with meals for many and room for all to sleep; from raucous twenty-somethings enjoying all the amenities to eighty-somethings being able to handle the one-floor indoor-outdoor living. The house and property served us well in all regards. We would rent it again in a heartbeat.

We could not have been happier with the house, property, location and included ammenities. This house includes anything and everything you could need. The property is the perfect place to get together with a group of friends, to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, as well as plenty of room to spread out and throw a football or get a nice game of whiffle ball going. I highly recommend this location and have already done so to many friends and family and hope to return!

This house offered so much to our family and provided us with a great getaway. The property is very pristine and private. Great views from the deck and hot tub. You can take a long walk on property or drive to any one of the nearby ski resorts. The house itself is beautiful, large and well decorated. It was very easy to entertain our entire family and nothing beats sitting in front of the large stone fireplace after dinner. I would absolutely recommend this house to any of my friends or family.

Hi David, A few people solved the murder, but my daughter was an incredible PUMA thief, and managed to escape with the 'diamonds' and the $1 Million dollar painting. I'll send you a photo of our wacky costumes. The entire main floor was decorated in black and gold for New Year's Eve - looked really great. The four kids threw paper streamers off the balcony, which was the highlight of their week. Your house is absolutely wonderful - the kids wish they could buy it! We all felt comfortable, warm, and at home the entire week and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the sledding outside the house.

David, Thanks so much for everything. We had a magnificent time in Newfane. Everything was perfect - there was even a small snowfall day before yesterday that made everything outside look even more beautiful. We snow-shoed, hot-tubbed, went to Brattleboro and Putney, and for a hike in Jamaica along the West River. Our Christmas dinner was perfect, and we had all the pots and pans we could have wished for. Thanks again, and Happy New Year. Nancy

David, After 6 months of classic writer's block in Hollywood, the best thing was finding your home, heaven! The smell of Autumn, a crackling fire and a glass of wine, allowed me to break this streak and finish the screenplay. It is slated for production late 2010. I will make sure you are on the red carpet with me. I thank you and my public thanks you...I just had to say that! with kind regards, Robert
