Absolutely pristine 1 BR apartment on Best Chelsea block (1/2 block from Trains) in the most desirable area in Manhattan. Literally one block from all transportation, close to galleries, restaurants and all that NYC has to offer. This is a brand new renovated 1 BR apartment and is on a high floor with fantastic open city views. South light makes the space bright and open. Brand new furniture, high speed internet, cable TV and every amenity you could want for a fantastic long or short term stay. There is a 24-hour doorman to take in packages or hold onto yours as you continue shopping. Excellent restaurants, gyms and more all within blocks of the building. A better location or unit can't be found! Full kitchen has dishwasher and microwave and there is plenty of closet space. With small hotel rooms in the area costing over $400 a night in the off season, this apartment is cost effective and a place to call home while visiting or working in Manhattan. Not a typical rental. Furnishings are lovely and carefully chosen to create a warm and comfortable environment with everything you could need for a wonderful stay.

This was my first visit to NYC with my wife. I am so glad I stayed in an apartment over a hotel. We were able to get away from the crowds. This apartment has a great location between 7 and 8 Ave. The apartment was new with everything you could ask for. The pictures shown are exactly as the apartment is. The owner lives near by and was available if I needed anything. The Apt is on the 11 floor so it was quiet. There is a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods walking distance. There are 2 subways less that 2 blocks away. There were lots of restaurants close by. One thing just to mention is Chelsea is the Gay area of New York so don't be shocked if you see two guys holding hands or kissing.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

The best thing about this apartment is that "It is NOT a Scam"! We flew in (from Singapore) to NYC for a course and stayed a month. The thing is, renting a property online was nerve-wrecking, we were worried about online scams and we actually had a few "scammers" that responded to us. In the end, we decided to go with Laurie and we were so glad that we did. Laurie was extremely prompt in responding to all our queries, she even answered all our SMSes and overseas calls when we tried to authenticate her contact number. Checking-in and out of the apartment was a breeze, Laurie was always contactable. The apartment is exactly as you see in the photos - clean, modern and real comfy. It is very well-equipped, with wireless internet, I think we had cable - I'm not too sure, anyway, there was enough channels on the TV to fiddle with, Laurie also provided guidebooks and maps, the kitchen is fully equipped too, there's also a laundry room at the basement. Basically, you'll find everything you need in place. The location is superb. We have eateries: Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican all around us. We even have the hip 24/7 Cafeteria just down the corner. We are also walking distance to Chelsea Market, the meat-packing district, The Highline, 5th avenue. The neighbourhood is very safe, even at night. We will definitely be coming back to NYC, and definitely coming back to this apartment!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
