Great Harbour Cay is one of the islands in the Berry Islands group, located in the Northwest Bahamas. This Beach Villa is three villas combined into one for a total of 1600 sq ft. plus a wrap around deck. It was completely renovated in 2007-2008. EVERYTHING is brand new and immaculate!
This vacation rental has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a pull-out couch in the living room that sleeps 2, beautiful, centrally located kitchen with granite counter tops imported from Italy, separate living and dining areas with fantastic ocean views, and a newly constructed large deck overlooking golf course and beach. It is tastefully furnished and includes washer and dryer, plasma tv, surround-sound stereo system, remote controlled split unit A/Cs, and large propane grill.
Enjoy the breezes from the hammock located just off the porch, or take a few steps out onto the white powdery sand beach. There you can set your beach chair up under one of the thatched cabanas or walk the beach for miles in either direction.

Great place to get away from it all and completely relax. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The unit is facing the beach and the views were stunning. It also had a beautiful deck for out door eating as you looked over the crystal clean waters. The beach club is a short walk down the beach where you can have breakfast, lunch or just have a drink and meet locals and visitors. The beach was so nice that we never wanted to leave. The owner was able to arrange for a cook to prepare our evening meals. Great Bahamian home cooking. The locals were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange for a boat to take us to nearby Islands. Don't miss Flo's, great fish restaurant on Little Harbor Cay. Also try Coolie Mays for great local cuisine and unforgettable sunsets. On the way back go to the Blue Lagoon formed by a meteorite. The kids loved jumping in from the 20 foot drop off. Good snorkeling is accessible nearby by boat or off the beach near the unit. Explore the Sugar Caves or just walk on the 3+ mile beach. Make sure you arrange for food before hand, there is not much available on the Island. The caretaker was able to stock up for us before we arrived. I highly recommend using Noble Air Charters if you are coming in from Miami or Fort Lauderdale. There is a charter from Nassau as well. The owner was very helpful in helping to make our stay very enjoyable.

As a long time aficionado of the Bahamas, this location tops as one of my favorites spots next to the Eleuthera’s. I had heard of this Cay a while back and came across the owner at a gathering and scheduled a trip. Very relaxing getaway for the family and the fishing excursion was phenomenal on a bottom fishing expedition. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the daily hassles. The owner’s recommendations for local dinning were excellent as well.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
