Last week, nine members of our extended family had the pleasure of spending a very special week at the Castellina property in Mountain Village. The house had many of the amenities normally associated with an expensive hotel (steam baths in the master bedroom, bathrobes, etc.) The kitchen was large and well-equipped. Everything was clean and accessible. The great rooms facilitated group get-togethers while the size of the house enabled individuals and individual couples to enjoy their privacy and solitude as well. The proximity of the house to the village and gondolas gave us easy access to the town of Telluride and its dining and shopping opportunities without ever having to move our vehicles. The spa, barbecue, washer and dryer were all state of the art-----clean and easy to use. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this accommodation; we had a memorable vacation and would definitely like to return in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
