Why the Owner Chose Fernie
Our family enjoys Fernie House all year long. In winter, we all ski and spend weekends together in the fresh air enjoying quality time with family and friends leaving our busy lives behind. In summer, we love to mountain bike and water ski at the many lakes around Fernie. We enjoy golfing at the Fernie Golf and Country Club. We love to invite people down to Fernie to spend time at our chalet. We have countless memories (and pictures on Facebook!) of the great times we have enjoyed at Fernie house. Steve and I started skiing at Fernie in the early 1980's. When the children were born, we found Fernie a very accommodating ski resort having rental places close by and a great daycare. In 1998 Fernie Alpine Resort was selling hillside lots as part of the new owner's development. We purchased a lot and built the house and have never looked back. We invite you to experience Fernie House soon.
