Karibu (A Swahili word meaning "welcome" ) Cottage sits in a quiet area of Pub Hill Farm looking down over the beautiful Wagonga Inlet, with uninterrupted views over the water to the East and over Mt Dromedary to the South West. Pub Hill Farm is so quiet you will hear only the sounds of the dozens of varieties of birds that abound in the area. On the farm and in the adjoining forest there are many excellent bushwalks and you can throw in a fishing line in the creek at the bottom of the hill (a two minute walk) and perhaps catch something to barbecue for your dinner.
If you want to venture further afield you could visit some of the area's heritage listed villages, perhaps visit a winery, have a sea front lunch of fish and chips, whale watch in Spring, dolphin watch all year round, take scenic drives around some of NSW's most beautiful coastal areas, play golf at Narooma's very renowned sea front golf course, have an oyster lunch sampling some of Australia's finest oysters and then return to the tranquility of Karibu Cottage to enjoy watching sunset fade over the estuary.
In the winter a wood stove keeps the cottage very cozy although Narooma has a wonderfully mild climate in both winter and summer.
Guests return time after time to Karibu Cottage saying that it feels like "coming home."

Year Purchased: 2006
We have lived at Pub Hill farm for 20 years after living overseas, mainly in various parts of Africa (for another 20 years) and in 2006 we built Karibu Cottage as a vacation rental cottage. It has been a huge success so far and it as been our pleasure to welcome guests from all over Australia and indeed the world and to share this gorgeous area with them.
