  We stay for a week in this fantastic villa, very quiet and confortable. We enjoy visiting Panicale and all the places nearby (this is a strategic position for visiting Florence, Rome, Perugia, Assisi...) and having fun and relax in the pool. There is a lot of privacy and we love it. Katiuscia, the girl who manage the house, is so kind and gentle and always attentive to all the needs. We hope we can come back next year!

  a big thankyou to Katia who helped ensure that the hliday went perfectly. I had arranged a holiday for extended family and friends and was delighted by the villa and Katia's expert help. The villa was beautiful - spacious ,clean and quiet. The surrounding area was fabulous for walking and running and then the fabulous pool to return to . Nonna 's cooking evening organised by Katia was great. Only 2 hours from Florence and Sienna and less to Perugia and markets ,it was perfectly located. Will be back.

  A great Villa with all facilities, also for a large family or group! We decided already back in January to rent a villa for August through Katia since she responded prompt to all our queries. She acted in a way that gave us full confidence from the very outset. Once we arrived and met Katia we where definitely not disappointed. She has proved to be extremely friendly, service oriented and very flexible in her approach. Everything is possible to solve for her. Moreover she has a fantastic network with other nice and reliable people in the area. I can nothing but commend and highly recommend Katia for a great job!

  We celebrated our silver wedding at L'antico tabacciao with our kids and grandchildren. The house is so beautyful, well renowated and with lots of space. Nobody will disturb you - and you will disturb nobody - as the house is situated at the end of a kilometer long dusty side road to a minor road. The pool is clean and inviting. A's a surprice to our kids who is very interessed in Italian cooking we had hired Rosanne "la regina della cucina" to come and cook for us one night. She is not that big but her skills are sky high. We also had Veronica and her brother-in-law to come and learn us some tips and tricks about pizza making. Great success. You will meet Katia the manager in nearby town Panicale. She will show the way to L'antico tabacciao. You can't find yourself. It is at an no-name road. No help from the gps! You have beautyful Lake Trasemeno, Castliglione Lago, Montepulciano and over Umbrian sights not far away and Tuscany is just a short distance away. Katia and her husband Massimo are the most friendly and helpfull people we have ever met. They provide you with information on all types of events, markets etc. As my wife got ill during our stay Katia and Massimo were extremely helpfull and assisted us with the hospitals and farmacies and they booked a hotel for us when we had to leave L'antico Tabacciao when new guests arrived. We are ever so thankful.

  We (8 people) stayed at Antico Tabaccaio for only 6 days - which was actually a shame, because it is such a wonderful house – we would have loved to stay for 2 weeks. The photos on VRBO are absolutely correct, but the house is even better in real-life. The villa is massive, clean as a whistle and is perfectly equipped with everything you can imagine, down to towels, shower gel, hair-dryers, coffee and spices in the kitchen, the works. The pool is wonderful - big and clean. Although it is only 5 minutes by car from Panicale, it is very secluded, surrounded by farmland, sunflowers and cornfields. With 8 people we had bedrooms to spare - there is enough space so that you don't get in each other's hair, and the tables are big enough to sit 12 people easily and comfortably. Katia is great – communication perfect, she organised everything, met us in the town to show us how to get to the villa, booked a restaurant for the first night, and was available for us at any time. If you get the chance to have NONNA ROSANNE to cook for you, I can thoroughly recommend her. She not only cooks up a dream, she is lovely. Go there – you won’t regret it! Worthwhile excursions: Panicale of course, Perugia, Assisi, Firenze, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico,Castiglione de Lago (great market every Wednesday)

  splendid villa, suitable for people who wants to spend a relaxing holiday, without sacrificing comfort, space and beauty. The house is ideal for a private vacation away from the crowd but at the same time, very easy to get to Perugia, Florence, Cortona and Assisi. The house is fully equipped, clean and well-maintained, with every comfort, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, living rooms are furnished with taste and attention to every detail. The booking service was very efficient and arrived at the place we found Mrs. Katia who was very nice, kind and always ready to assist when needed. we fully reccomend the villa.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
